Unrealsk8er, thanks for sharing your experience. Like I mentioned...I don't care about the food, it is secondary when I go to the haunt meals...which means that unlike you, they couldn't disappoint me if they tried!
Thanks for answering my question...I agree that it would be a interesting converstation piece....but since they are that big I think I can resist the conversation!
That's the difference between your generation and mine. I am still "old school"...I like having a physical copy in my hand...whether it be a CD, DVD or book.
Ironically you also paid more than I did for the episode...technically...the whole season of 25 episodes can be had on Amazon for less than $15.00.
I want to thank you for the screen grabs and the article! I'm surprised you didn't post the opening shot of the park...I thought that one was breathtaking...at least on a big screen TV!
This is from the article you linked to:
SO...it's Danny Bonaduce who was the first Fast Laner...just another reason I don't like him!
For those who might care...according to a DVD website I frequent, both the 2nd & 3rd seasons of the Partridge Family are being discontinued. It is the 3rd season which contains the Kings Island episode "I Left My Heart in Cincinnati". You don't see the park as much as you do during The Brady Bunch episode...but there are still some good shots.
So...you might want to grab a copy (cheap) while you can.
That's more like it!
By the way you "guys" are dressed it looks like it was a little chilly that night...which seems odd as I sit here at work with the door open. (I hope the warm weather holds out a couple more weeks months!)
I haven't noticed anyone posting any photos of this year's Fright Feast in the picnic ground. I fear that I already know the answer since it is in the picnic ground...but if anyone on this site who has done Fright Feast this year would give me a review to let me know if it is worth it or not I would appreciate it. (Notice how I have learned to post "Interpreter proof yes answers"!)
I never go to the Halloween meals for the actual food...I go for the atmosphere...so if there are not many decorations I won't bother. (Last year's was the first time I ever skipped one.)
Any help WOULD be appreciated.
I couldn't agree more. This topic has been viewed over 300 times and only about 10 people have bothered to leave a reply.
I am sure that hours of work went into this post and I don't think it is too much to ask to show a little appreciation.
(Ok, lecture over, class dismissed!)
Ty, what can I say...as always very nice work. I can't imagine how much time this all took to put together.
Seeing all of this year by year reminds me of how much this event has changed...some for the good and some bad. I still have the fondest memories of the first couple of years. The campground still existed and we always rented a cabin. It was good times to take the tram back to the campground after Fearfest was over and sit by a fire with hot chocolate & roast marshmallows.
I do have photos of the first (cough) Fearfest...but they all pretty much have family & friends in the shots which I never like to post. (Back then I was still using a 35 MM camera...so I took photos sparingly.)
Thanks again for taking the time to put all of this together!
I like Miss Rea's costume!
Thanks for the report...I am still on the fence about my feelings about the park moving the trick-or-treating over to a paid attraction...it seems like an act of desperation to me...but they will suck my family into it anyway.
VERY cool report!! Thanks for all the photos...and the captions are fun.
The spiders on the tower look good...but I liked them better on the marquee last year...but I guss it's good their changing things up.
Thanks for posting this. Very interesting.
My family has a tough enough time just scheduling our meals so they work out ok...the idea of this makes my head swim.
