I volunteered for almost 8 years and I can tell getting tickets as payment for working at the park was wonderful I would do it again in a heartbeat but I have a problem with transportation to and from the park and finding a group to work with now because the group I'm with discontinued because of leadership changes and a former friend couldn't get me a new group to take to take over and get transportation to and from the park i'm disgusted with him to this very day I don't know how to get over it but I'm trying to, but it's very hard because that was my lifeline of not only to volunteer,but escapeism for the day to have the park to myself for a few hours it was wonderful I wish there was some way I can get a new group and transportation to and from the park I miss it very much. Meh I've down all that except for the AFB. Going to CP is still better imo. Even still you can get through all that plus KI in 3 days. Completely off-topic, but I haven't thought about Moxahala park in years! It closed when I was very young, but I still have some (good) vague memories... I guess that just goes to prove that you don't have to have a mega-corporate regional park to have a good time at an amusement park Ihope some of the rides from the park come to KI and give the park a boost. Dear Friends For me of course I think Labor Day is my favorite holiday not only because it end of the season, but it's also the time when the crowds come to celebrate the end of summer, but to come to the park to have fun well.
