Sorry it just all I have read from the Interp on here about the SOB is how rough it is, how much smoother other woodies are, and IF they reopen it.

And I'm getting sick of you being so negative about this ride. Sorry it's not like your precious El Toro. Get over it and stop riding it if your not man enough to handle the Son of Beast.

Those are magnificant pictures. And I agree yes the SOB has its wooden rollercoaster roughness but that is part of the Son of Beast. Much improved.

The ride has opened at 1:45 PM both days so far and I don't know about yesterday but today when it finished raining and they were testing it again they did have mecanical problem but I believe that all they had. They did stop the first train of the day at the bottom of the hill today but I think that was planned because there was an mechanic walking around the transfer track

It hasn't opened with the park yet. I felt the seat are alot better. The lapbars aren't to big and it just feels like your more free than you were last year.

Just got back from KI myself. I arrived at about 1:40. Son of Beast was not open but there was a line so I joined it. At about 1:45 they opened it and I was officially in line and nothing was getting me out. The First ride that was open to the public they stopped on the hill. I don't know if it broke or if they meant to do it. I was on about the 9th train of the day in the third row. I must say I thought it was smoother than The Racer ride I did today. Yes it had its spots but its a freaking tall and fast wooden rollercoaster. If you want to compare the roughness of the ride then please make it comparable and don't say compared to a steel coaster that is rough. The only way to know if they improved it is if you had been on it when it had the loop. New SOB is a lot better than old SOB. So after I rode SOB first I decided to do Racer and Firehawk the SOB again. Then left

I just saw it advertise on tv that saturday at noon Cin CW will be broadcasting live from Kings Island.

All spirit song is a christian music festival. So if your walking around the park most likely you wont be preached to. Second I was there on Memorial Day and it started to rain and yes all coasters shut down excluding Flight of Fear I'm sure as do most of the other rides.
