I've paid for parking, bought my Gold Pass and showed them the parking receipt.....can't remember if they credited my card or reimbursed me...best to check with guest relations before you go....

They certainly have enough skeletons along the tracks path....heck just ride through the haunt at night would be cool....does the train operate at halloweekends? Haven't been there in years.

I could probably get ten decibels if I got on stage, turned around and let one rip.....wonder if they would accept that as a scream....LOL

To be honest, I think you might see a makeover to Oktoberfest similar to the Gemini midway makeover....at least with the strings of lights and a couple of classic rides, and maybe a new thrill ride or two. I think that if they fix the clock on the Festhaus, that would be a start....still want to see a Giant Wheel right on the edge of the lake with a light package like WindSeekers light package. Would be a great view from the Biergarten.

If this coaster is supposed to open in 2014, wouldn't there be some activity now? Anyone seen any activity besides demolition in the location where the former coaster was located?

community standards again...and thats ok. Just find a community thats willing to permit the attraction.... oh well there's always next season... lol!

I don't see any coaster for a few years. I think they will concentrate on uping the flat ride choices.

Things are shaping up for a rollercoaster top off this week....fingers crossed...scroll in close and you can see a worker on top of the track (5:28 pm)

More lift hill just went up!!!

Seeing it from your view, I have to agree. I kind of thought they would create the lower part of the loop first then finish the lift, then cap it off....I guess it really all depended on where the end of the lift hill track piece ended....plus all of the loop supports would have been in the way too.

I'm shocked that they are going to build the loop around the constructed part of the lift hill, instead of building the loop first. Hope there are no windy days ahead.

I can't see how there won't be cameras. How could they monitor if something is going wrong, or if they have a need to evacuate the house? BTW....I won't be going to this one....mainly because the monsters would be too busy laughing to scare me!

I'd love to see this quality of a house at Kings Island. This is from a house in Corona California. It seems to be a part of a haunt park. I think that since the attractions are mostly up all year, the quality of the attractions could be better....I will give them time, I think they are improving....hopefully they will become this quality some day.

I'm not sure how the Blackout Houses are haunt attractions. Do they skirt local laws (if there are any) by being on private property or something? That stuff described is just weird to me.

If you get a chance to ever go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, it is so cool. The kids and their parents dress in costume and go trick or treating for candy throughout the park. They have special shows and parades with Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes. There were projections on the castle of ghosts rising from the moat to fly up the turrets. Costumes are not required but it was so cool to see parents participating with their children. We saw plenty of father/son pirates and mother/daughter princesses. The Haunted Mansion was the centerpiece that night and the employees went all out to make your mansion visit as creepy as possible. It was fun fun fun!!!!

Devarious, it is a chance to be a kid again....I love the place..... I don't have kids, but it's a chance to relive those fond memories of youth when everything was clean and pure of heart.
