^well that post made me have to jump over on rcdb, to see georgia scorcher photos, if that were what we get (a replica of georgia scorcher), i'd be happy. then i looked to see what other b&m stand-ups were in the country and to my surprise i found one at a certain park with a foggy future. is Cedar Fair pulling another geauga lake on us?

i can't wait for the announcement, but i'm seriously doubting it's anything about Son of Beast, unless with a overhaul it's getting a new name as well.

actually, just me thinking out loud, but if the slogan " your history" was used with the date, and with the area shown in the topography maps being so large. maybe there will be a reincarnation of the wildlife habitat, all of the barns that the animals were kept in are still standing (or at least all i've ever payed attention to).

maybe march 18, 2011 is the set date for the first section of the tower for WindSeeker to be lifted into place.

The Racer had one train of each color on a given side until Cedar Fair turned recar back forward.

racer was turned back around forward due to requirements from the state of ohio and the fact that the overall running cost were less. starting a petition will not make them turn the south side backwards again. sorry. btw: welcome to KICentral.

none of the rides at Kings Island "scare" me, but Drop Tower gives me the greatest thrill of all of the rides you don't pay extra for.

^Son of Beast sit for nearly a year before opening back up to the public unannounced after the accident in 2006. the park doesn't have to tell the world every little thing they're planning, could you imagine if they did?

^^i was going to pick Firehawk, but then i thought of all the technical issues they have with it and thought that it would be a better idea to choose something with a more reliable track record. lol if they could fix those bugs quickly every morning, however, then i'd vote for it.

i voted WindSeeker and The Racer. The Racer is what sparked the second golden age of roller coasters, why not showcase it to who ever feels like getting to the park early, plus it has two sides. WindSeeker will give you a great view of the park from a unique angle, unless you're deathly afraid of heights or swings, i think it will be a great ride for anyone over 48 52 inches.

Then why do they spend time here? Did you not get the point of my post? they spend time on kic, most of the time to monitor what is being posted. if something very large were to get out here on KICentral, especially since it's an unofficial site for Kings Island, Kings Island could have the site closed. you have a valiant point about Kings Island reading to see if some minor complaints have arisen and if possible those could/ can be fixed, but to think that because of enthusiast complaints flight deck got a paint job, that's a little far fetched. if they did everything based on what the enthusiast wanted there most likely wouldn't even be half the things to do at Kings Island, no spinney rides, children rides that adults cannot ride(taking up space for a thrill seeker's ideal ride), and so on.

before someone freaks out about the trees being removed, i think that area between the gift shop and woodstock's whirlybirds and the new seating area look better than the overgrown, needs to be trimmed trees.

Not sure I understand your statement. I have watched movement on the webcam all day today and the date stamp and time is up to date. Seems like real time to me. Definitely don't think they will carry it on top of those new pavers! reading this made me imagine Kings Island having a helicopter airlift all the pieces into place for the WindSeeker tower.
