  1. have any of you guys heard rumors of a new b&m roller coaster going in anywhere south of the fabrication plant in ohio that's going to be green? well the only reason why i ask this is because just now on my way home i spotted a flatbed with two green pieces of track on them. here are some pictures i took (sorry for the quality, i only had my phone. also, i hope to take more pictures tomorrow morning, it should still be there since the flatbed has no tractor trailer to be seen.): sorry, after reading the bar code the track seems to be change sporting it's new paint scheme as the green lantern.
  2. no announcement for Son of Beast? i'm having difficulty setting still waiting for something on this.
  3. could it be a broken heart? these are very complex creatures and love affection, i believe that the sudden pull out of trainers in the water is starting to have a negative effect (or affect, i've never been taught the difference.) on the orcas.
  4. ^i have hope, if it counts for anything.
  5. sorry dieseltech20, i just added a new answer to the first question.
  6. pretty much to sum the reason for this poll up is that i thought it would be interesting to see how diverse the thoughts of the KICentral universe are when it comes to the disney parks in the u.s. my favorite park is epcot, i love the theming there and i love the basis of the park; the future and countries of the world. the only problem is that i've only been to the four parks in florida.
  7. his name was john harter. johnny is usually a nickname given to people named john. ...and lets face it, tower john would be easy to confuse with something else, not to mention all the people who would be looking for it.
  8. ^that's not true about disaster transport, last time i went to Cedar Point (early august, '08 season) i'm about 100% sure that all the theming was working throughout the que and ride itself. (there was this giant robotic-like arm about halfway through the ride, close to one of the mid-course brake-runs, that i'd never seen before.)
  9. well, at least from the picture you can tell there is about a 99.999% change the ride is going to be intamin.
  10. that's so sad, and i just watched the episode of cupcake wars, on food network, about his birthday celebration. edit: i just read the comments on the article, and it amazes me how those people think seaworld treats their animals and how they don't understand that orcas cannot just be thrown back into the ocean.
  11. on a side note, i completely wondered the same thing oldiesmann, about the not noticing the net and carriage weren't up.
  12. i think this is pointed towards me, so let me clear up my post. the field reporter did a great job telling facts (i was extra impressed that he didn't include either of the extra "the" 's that are usually placed in Son of Beast's name), i was referring to the man setting behind the desk and him giving information on how "metal" coasters are in comparison to wooden coasters.
  13. that reporter really seemed to know what he was talking about, and then the very last statement of the video ruined it.
  14. ^no... it's 8-15 years younger than you thought it was.
  15. wow, well that took longer than expected, so here are pictures of the opposite end of coney mall, via the Eiffel Tower: i can't even notice anything different in the land there, but on a side note, the trees the park planted after removing the laser tag building have really grown. too bad that's where WindSeeker is being built, according to the animation.
  16. i was there last sunday and made a trip to the end of coney mall just for that reason, to see any construction beginning, and i couldn't spot any from the ground level, or from the top of the Eiffel Tower, for that matter. i'm adding pictures of the area up on photobucket as i type, as soon as they are loaded i'll add them to this post.
  17. if it's from before Cedar Fair owned Kings Island, it would almost have to be from before paramount owned the park as well. i don't think i remember ever seeing a shirt when paramount owned the park that didn't say 'paramount's Kings Island' edit: lol, i need to start typing faster.
  18. i'm in the same boat as the interpreter, i've yet to see that style shirt, ever, although, it does has a great design.
  19. try uploading the photo to a site like photobucket, then copy the image code (it will be listed under "share" beginning with <= brackets included) then paste it into your post. edit: terp beat me. edit again: sorry, i tried to explain which link given to use, but the site is trying to make it a usable link.
  20. so, does a regular season pass to Kings Island gain you admission to Halloween Haunt?
  21. ^and then there were those enthusiasts who were pumped for the ride, followed the construction from day one, and more. then were seriously let down by the ride.
  22. ^i think you meant to add "former" between "another" and "poster."
  23. the funny thing is, i've ridden spongebob: 3d twice this season, and neither time do i even remember the ride ops telling the crowed to place their 3-d glasses in the bins, i almost forgot about placing them in there until i ran into the bin.
  24. i'm excited, but like jackson said, not near as pumped as i was for Diamondback. if i get to go opening day, i'll try my hardest to get a ride on it. and the last question, i love screamin' swings, so i voted yes, but i don't really know for sure, i'll have to wait and ride it before i decide if it's a better thrill than a screamin' swing.
  25. i think the wooden roller coaster idea, from a long time ago, still has a chance, and fits the clues. side-by-side: you set side-by-side on every wooden roller coaster 64 crayons: there could be two trains of 32 riders each dinosaur: the oldest form of roller coaster, wooden diaper: it will bring people back to when they were young (saying it's a recreation of an defunct Cedar Point roller coaster) the hint with picture of feet: two of the numbers are 66 and 50, it could only be 66 ft. tall, with a 50 ft. drop. the windmill: the ride will let you experience wind hitting you, especially if you have your hands extended upward.
