SFGAd GASM Removal

that's sad, but this picture shocked me the most: i never would have guessed the track would bend like that without the support of the rest of the track. -
i love the back seat on every roller coaster i've ridden, but there are a few that i like the front seat on too, like Diamondback, at night it's awesome hanging over the first drop and seeing the tiny lights way down by the walking path, plus it's really cool when going through the splashdown and feeling like you're gliding over the water's surface.

this is what i was referring to, a great number of the flats at holiday world have clones that are located at Kings Island, as well as various other amusement/ theme parks around the globe. btw, i'm sorry that i defended someone that had a different viewpoint from yours.
-
first off, no, i have been unfortunate in the sense that i've never been to holiday world, but that has nothing to do with me defending shaggy. just looking at holiday world's web-site, there is something comparable to a majority of everything holiday world has ride wise to what Kings Island has, excluding the roller coasters and water slides. and why on earth are you comparing max air to Delirium before comparing Delirium to anything at holiday world?
-
that's your own fault you only ride two flats at Kings Island, there are many more there to ride, for you to say you choose to ride two flats at one park and you ride more than that at another doesn't make the latter a better park. he did not say that's his only reason, he said there just doesn't seem to be enough there for him to stay entertained, that doesn't mean shade is the only thing that entertains him.

did they add another train to kingda ka? for some reason i think i remember it opening with only three trains; a green, an orange, and a blue.

i found two different shirts at Kings Island with Son of Beast on them two weeks ago when i was there (and not just shirts with collages on them, these were actually pictures of Son of Beast's lift hill/swoop turn, yet none mentioned Son of Beast's name), and i bought a $15 souvenir mug that had Son of Beast (with it's name on it) and various other Kings Island roller coasters on it. also, while looking at the park map i noticed that Invertigo hasn't been given an "intensity rating," instead there is just a blank space next to it on the rider height guide.
-
i just tried looking and couldn't find one, but i did find these two: both are small and a little pixelated, but you can still make them out.

vekoma's "cheap knockoffs" came first, two years before b&m opened up their first flying coaster, the first flying dutchman model opened at california's great america, it was a prototype.

i guess i'm one of the few that loves mantis, well as long as the first drop trim isn't on. whoever invented the first drop trim needs to be given a swirly.

it's not that it's confusing, it's the way that they word it on radio and television commercials, instead of saying something like visit us online at visitkingsisland.com, they say go online at visitkingsisland.com, you'd be amazed at how many people hear "and" instead of "at."

oh, i believe it, giving everything a fresh coat of paint, removing all traces of nick, replacing the walkway's with cobblestone/brick pavers, construction cost of having all the new signs built, and buying all the new statues and park benches. i believe it completely edit: and i forgot about the new entrance sign, along with the installation of snoopy's starlight spectacular.
-
lol, i'm one of the biggest supporters of snoopy (that's only seen the holiday specials and read the sunday comics, that is), i just figured you meant by actually installing something new, not making the area better as a whole with fresh paint and new awesome statues/ park benches.
-
well, if they consider euro bobbles medium, i really don't want to see small.
-
i vote try it and make your own opinion of the ride, just go into it with an open mind and don't let others opinions help paint the ride experience for you.

sounds awesome, maybe i can talk my dad into taking me that day. -
see, that's our problem, we rode it in the past, so we are automatically comparing it to what it once was, i still enjoy riding the crypt, but so many people went into it and were fed up because past experiences got in the way of seeing how the ride experience truly is. last wendesday me and my family met up with one of my mom's friends who was there with her husband and son, i rode the crypt with them and all three of them loved it. it's just that some of us members on here have outlandish ideas for the ride to bring it back to it's tomb raider experience, but it just can't be done. (i.e. water effects)

the applebee's is really good, or at least it was two years ago when i ate there. ...very rarely i'm able to eat at a "real" set-in restauraunt on a Cedar Point vacation, i'm usually at the park from opening to close, leaving me with only 24 hour drive thru's to eat at. -
OFFICIAL! Son of Beast Will NOT Operate in 2010
coaster_junky replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
...so, that makes me think that the reason Son of Beast is closed right now is because of an accident that occurred before the overhaul that involved the removal of the loop, if so, how could that be part of a settlement? -

there are a few fast food restaurants close to great wolf lodge, along with an applebee's and a red lobster. -
i don't see Cedar Point passing up the chance to say they have the last remaining suspended swinging coaster, but hey, you never really know.
