  1. although she's not really new, christina agulera does a pretty good job belting out.
  2. i usually get majority of peoples abbreviations for rides, but what does srar mean?
  3. what!? your local fairs have roller coasters? we get a few flats and maybe a fireball. the only time there is a roller coaster at a fair i've been to is the kentucky state fair, but i guess that won't even be true this year.
  4. yes, i did read the whole article, and am amazed that he still managed to get away with something also after being found with two items, the sunglasses and the gps system. terpy, i didn't mean the comment i made to be rude i do know that cars are still broken into everyday, whether or not it's locked. i just feel that if it was left unlocked, he was taking a huge risk.
  5. that was a great show of being in the right place at the right time, however if the car was left unlocked, i don't feel as bad for the man who was robbed as i would if it was locked. but i do find it funny that the thief's response to, "what are you doing?" was "i only took a pair of sunglasses." like it really wasn't that big of a deal he had done it.
  6. i've never been to a bad amusement/theme park, or at least what i consider bad. but then again, i've only been to: the four florida disney proporties, seaworld orlando, seaworld san antonio, Kings Island, Cedar Point, and kentucky kingdom.
  7. does Kings Island's skyline chili restaurants finally have shoestring fries? last year they had crinkle fries, something that goldstar is known for.
  8. did they change the menu over the offseason? last year the menu was near identical to when it was bubba gumps.
  9. ^^as has been stated multiple times, Delirium has been down for a while now, long before the power outage on the fourth.
  10. isn't over by that greenhouse where most of the hannah barbara/ nick central signs/ park benches ended up?
  11. nearly $50 for a book! no thank you. coaster_junky, who is patiently waiting for the new edition of walt disney imagineering: a behind the dreams look at making the magic real to drop below $40 (it's currently $60)
  12. ^something that i didn't believe completely until we analyzed it in my u.s. history class. silver and gold make green.
  13. loving the fact that one online news article declares the dark knight coasters as overrated, and one states it as a must ride.
  14. since you didn't purchase a ticket because of your pass, how on earth would you know that they were or weren't telling persons buying their tickets there about ride closures or power shortages?
  15. yes, i feel so sorry for all the park employee's who were left in the dark (in some cases literally), and then have to deal with irate customers, that don't understand that they currently don't have the answers to their questions. i just want to take this time to thank all park employee's who were treated rudely during the events of the fourth for trying their hardest to continue with a smile on their face, no mater how hard it was.
  16. ^you never know, i never thought any ride could be thanksgiving themed, and there are multiple at the park.
  17. see this is what i don't understand, if this was the same situation, just at the people complaining's house instead of an amusement park, would they really be getting this angry? i seriously doubt it. ...but, hey, having thoughts like this gets you accused of being a little boy park employee, that Kings Island should be ashamed of hiring...
  18. ^^king cobra's trains were sent to kings dominion a while back for use as spare parts. ...but, i love this idea, i even asked about it one day in the 5@5, to see if we could get one in tower gardens, then someone else asked it, then they were answered, , i would love the model ideas, as long as they were accurate, but i don't see them having sections of track from every defunct ride, after a while they would run out of room to place newer additions.
  19. that would be crazy if this were true, i mean the castle would be the next tallest thing, and it's highest point wouldn't even reach where the track on the top hat starts going vertical.
  20. in all honesty if we were going to be receiving an invert, i would be happy with one of b&m's batman models, i rode my first one last friday at seaworld san antonio, and i must say that was much more forceful than i expected it was going to be, and i loved it.
  21. i was aware of this, but he said that he heard that it would be an actual separate park, like magic kingdom to epcot, but just take it for what it's worth because he's not anyone big in the amusement park industry, he just works at a gear factory in cincinnati, which every now and again makes gears for amusement parks.
  22. it's still very sad, hopefully now parks in china will open their eyes and start having more inspections on rides and other attractions.
  23. ^wow, those poor workers, would it have been that hard to hook the speakers up to a stereo?
