  1. @jackson (very twitter-ish), that's what i thought, thanks for clearing that up. ... well since we're kind of on the subject of it, was the crypt (then tomb raider: the ride) constructed the same way, ride chamber first, then actual ride?

i know it rained the day i went; my dad, his friend, my sister, and me, were the only ones (including "haunters") in the whole cemetery drive.
  3. i brought this up a while back, but i don't think it was ever given a yes or no, did they construct Flight of Fear after the building was built?
  4. i found this list of f.a.q.'s for the haunted mansion attractions at the various disney parks (22 to be exact.). these go into extreme detail, but were written by someone with some, "handed-down" information. so, sorry if anything isn't correct, which there very well could be. anyway, i found it to be an interesting read. haunted mansion f.a.q.
  5. i'm one of those that have taken part in some of the "arguments," but i would like to point out that after i'm in one, i pm accordingly (something that most don't see and think they don't happen.) so, i'm sorry kic for any argument, or what is labeled as an argument by other members, that i've been apart of.
  6. they have them, one of which is keeping everyone who cares/wants to see about the deconstruction of great american scream machine.
  7. i forgot all about lincoln, and that's pretty sad since that's my mom's favorite car brand. i guess i was thinking of the motor company names, i.e. gmc, toyota, ford, chrysler.
  8. is this one supposed to be a trick question?
  9. i honestly don't see where i can feel for this man, after all, he wasn't forced to chain himself to a running roller coaster.
  10. does a ride manufactuer have to approve something like this before the stunt is done, or is it left up only to the park? i just ask because i remember a few years ago when criss angel mindfreak did an "escape" from canyon blaster at circus circus in las vegas.
  11. well, when you do get the lead, which at this rate you will most likely will, you'll have to hold everyone else off for 24 more hours. good luck!! edit: i started this reply when you still didn't have the lead. i knew you could do it.
  12. link edit: 100 kph is roughly 51 mph
  13. excellent trip report, i love sea world and all their conservation efforts. seeing this trip report really makes me want to get back to the one in orlando, i haven't been there since i was five or six. oh, i think that stadium you weren't sure of is where they preform non-animal shows, like 'cool vibrations' at sea world san antonio.
  14. ^yea, i was telling adam last night on facebook about how last time i rode front seat on the red racer i hit my lower neck on the top of the head rest multiple times, just to gauge how much ejector air that is, when i set in the seat, flat on my butt, my head barely reaches the top of the head rest.
  15. awesome report, i really wish i could have taken part in this with you all, it sounds like all participants had a great time, for a great cause. looking forward to part two.
  16. great mini-report, i really wish i could have made it, did you all fit in one train together?
  17. Again, when I'm trying to have a conversation, you turn it into a debate. Not new. all i did was do the exact same thing you did, i posted my ideas and beliefs, just because they are different from yours does not make it an argument, it makes it a discussion (something that happens in a discussion forum), for you to think it's an argument makes me think you want it to be one.
  18. yes, but someone needs to get the reporter/journalist/writer to reword that.
  19. so, was it 8 five dollar bills that were made to look like 100's? i'm confused by the way that's written.
  20. well thanks terp, more on topic: did anyone else on here find that statue of that giant man tied to the ground, well freaky? i'm not sure if i could have even seen that with the park open and not been frightened a little.
  21. it's from disney's river country, i think. i think somewhere on screamscape there was a link to a bunch of photos from the park. edit: nevermind, i'm slow, as usual.
  22. we've still got about 120 pages to go. Son of Beast discussion thread
  23. from screamscape: http://screamscape.com/html/gardaland.htm i'm thinking that this is going to have a jurrasic park-ish theme.
  24. i never said they went to roller coaster corp. of america first, stop putting words in my mouth. i'd be shocked if they were the first ones that were asked, all i said was that for the right price they most likely would have done it. did you ever think their price tag (either cci, or gci), wasn't in the parks budget. there is more that goes into a parks decision of who to have build something than whether or not the company wants to.
  25. all i'm saying is that if someone asked me to do something more extreme than what i'm used to, as long as i had the correct funding, i'd happily attempt whatever it was they were wanting me to do. i mean, it's not like they would have been asked to build the world's tallest steel coaster with a launch, instead they would have been asked to build something they were used to, just on a bigger scale.
