  1. i never said that they don't spend alot of money on keeping it running, i'm talking about where you said "it was a horrible waster of money for the park", which leads me to believe that you have thought that ever since they started building it you thought the ride was going to be a huge flop, which it hasn't.

  2. no i've rode blue streak plenty of times and think all it is, is a smaller version of the blue racer, even if The Racer was built nine years after blue streak.

and unfortunatly, i have only been to Kings Island, Cedar Point, walt disney world, and kentucky kingdom (even though i have never rode anything at kentucky kindom)

oh, i forgot to add seaworld (before any roller coasters were added) and hershy park

  3. white water canyon and The Beast

the walk for white water canyon is the best, sorta reminds me of the jungle trail, minus the exotic animals, at the cincinnati zoo. and i love the themeing in The Beast's queue line, with the big water wheel and old shack like theme.

  4. i voted for the walk back to the platform, mainly because it reminds me of when i walk back to the creek on the back of my family's farm, exept for the fact that the walk at Kings Island is on a walkway and not on a trail made by cattle. :P

  5. Other than SoB, what records or firsts did KI have during the Paramount years?

world's first lim launch roller coaster (outer limits: Flight of Fear/ Flight of Fear)

world's first hyper-woody (Son of Beast)

world's first giant top spin (tomb raider: the ride/ the crypt)

    world's first giant frisbee (Delirium)

    world's tallest gyro-drop (drop zone/ Drop Tower)

not a whole lot, but still it kinda is.

  6. another thing is that there isn't a card for skyhawk at Cedar Point, but there is a card for jr. gemini that has a picture of skyhawk as it's card front.

ps this is a great web site, and once the hiccups are all out of it, it will be in no dought in my mind an excilent one.

  7. so last night i got to ride the crypt with it's new program, and in all honesty the way everyone was talking about it i was expecting it to be a very boring ride, and i must say that i enjoy waiting in line more, expecially since they have The Bat working and that you can now see the ride in motion, but maybe that's just me that has just as good of a time watching a ride run as i do actually riding it.

after standing in line i finally got on and was amazed that even though the ride has been "tamed" so much, it is still an enjoyable ride, i'm not meaning that it's my favorite ride in the park and that i would wait in a line reaching all the way out of the cave for it. but it is something that gives you a break from all of the high intensity rides that the park has to offer.

i do wish that Kings Island would add a few props in the ride chamber that could cause some "close encounters" and the ride be a little bit longer and exactly how fast are you moving when the top spin gets up to top speed with this program, because it felt like we were bookin it going past the concreate floor?

  8. i just noticed something else, in the video you can watch showing "the ride warrior check list" it says Backlot Stunt Coaster, but you see the italian job stunt track billboard, could Cedar Fair get in trouble with paramount for this?

  9. wow, i was so excited about this site and it is very mis-informative :(

and i thought max air and Delirium were the same exact rides? if so why is even their info. completely different?

and wouldn't you know it, silver bullet is a floorless coaster.

  10. That building cannot be removed, as it houses the launch mechanism for TTD.

the one that has the sign that says the different dates that year at the park? I thought that it had a food stand in it.
