Oh boy. Here I go.
Look, coaster_junky. A lot of people do not like Son of Beast. Your just gonna have to get over it. I hear a lot of people say, "Diamondback Sucks, its not even fun" to me. Not to mention I get a lot of "Your so obsessed with roller coasters it makes me wana puke". Thats just a little thing, and I tend to shake it off. You just need to accept the fact that people don't like your favorite ride. Firehawk123 keep posting. This is a site to express your OPINION. Which is exactly what I'm doing right now. I don't like all these flame wars lately, and they need to stop.
htco, i wasn't trying to start a "flame war" but i'm just getting tired of people always complaning about things, even though Son of Beast is one of the big ones, there are alot of other things, like Vortex, backlot, and other things around the park. i was just trying to say that just because you don't like something at the park you don't have to ride or watch it, for example my least favorite ride at Kings Island is Vortex, but every chance i get i don't type, "i wish Kings Island would tear down Vortex already and replace it with *insert b&m model of coaster* on all that land it's setting on," insted i just keep it to myself and go on with my day, and when i'm at the park i usually just avoid it, unless someone i'm with wants to ride it.
i guess my point i'm trying to make is, nobody cares if you post what your least favorite ride or something is, but you don't have to keep on telling the board users about it every five minutes.

Yes!!! We need more shows and entertainment. (The County Line should be gone soon). No offense to anyone who likes country, but I hate it!
But no one get excited for "improvements". We don't know if SOB will be gone or not!
so since you don't like Son of Beast, it should be gone.
and now you don't like country music, you think that they should take out all of the shows that involve it.
all i've got to say to you is if you don't like something at the park, just avoid it, they have different shows and rides around the park so that you don't have to stand around and complane about the ones that you don't like to ride/watch or whatever else it is that you don't want to do.

i think since Son of Beast is closed for the season, the park should offer backstage "hardhat" tours of it so people can go back and take pictures of it, and if they want to they can have it be an upcharge like skyflyer or slingshot. i know i would pay to do it.

^and that's my point, Son of Beast was open for the '07 haunt, so it would have been difficult to use it's line for club blood, and this year Son of Beast is going to be closed, so that would give the park more room for the line with Son of Beast's huge que, and why have Son of Beast's signs cluttering up the line when all you have to do is remove a couple screws or bolts to take the signs down.

oh, i think i read somewhere in this topic about an animation of Son of Beast (sort of like the one for Diamondback), if there is one, will someone post a link to it?

since last off season outer hanks didn't become bubba gumps again, will it this off season?

okay, first off i'm not sure if this belongs in the "other amusment park" forum or the "off topic" forum, but i was wondering if there was anyone on here as a member that got to be part of the disney college program, and if so could you please tell me a little bit about it? i am thinking very hard about doing this, but all i am really sure about it is that you can't apply until after your first simester of college.

i call them by their new names, and the only one that really bugs me is Drop Tower, sorta rct-ish to me and for some really wierd reason i can't get fairly odd coaster to stick in my brain, i'm constantly correcting myself with that one.

i agree with kat, both Son of Beast and Flight of Fear deserve to be ace coaster landmark. and if Kings Island would remove the seat belts on Son of Beast it would qualify for coaster classic, wouldn't it?

i voted red racer, but want my vote counted as The Racer in general.
i know that blue streak is older and everything, but when i ride it i just think of it being a smaller version of the north racer.

okay, i know this is a somewhat old topic, but i have a question about the haunted mansion, in the graveyard scene, is the "singing bust" that has fell over suppost to be walt disney, maybe it's just me but i think he looks alot like him?

^maybe Son of Beast could get some of these, so that there is a lower maintence cost.
