Is there any chance the older Premier trains are still at the park? From WindSeeker, it seems that the older cars are sitting behind DA.

The damage looks really bad as of Sunday. Almost as if the siding started peeling off and the insulation started coming out. Maybe we will see it fixed over September or the off season.

If it's implemented as well as it is on Millie and Maverick, I doubt it will affect capacity too much. If it's like Kings Island where it is a walk right into the station with no wait, it could seriously impact the capacity, as on Opening Day I could see people buying Fast Lane just to use it on Gatekeeper most of the day.

I was at the park Sunday and found the lines about average. While Vortex seemed long, the queues in the station weren't being used, making the line seem longer than it was. I did see Drop Tower going through every single queue earlier in the day, but eventually it went down to its usual 2. Seems weird as the park has been much more crowded this year than it has seemed in previous years. I wonder what a Saturday at Haunt will be like, one can only imagine.

For the past few visits to the park, I have ridden WindSeeker and constantly noticed some red and yellow in an open field a little farther behind DA! I always thought that it was most likely something to do with the Dinos, but it kept nagging me. Today, I finally got a look that cemented in my mind that those were the old Premiere SoB trains. I may be wrong, plus they may have been there last season also, but the objects back there have the look of the trains.

Cedar Point Ride & Refresh Ticket
beastrider97 replied to bkroz's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
^Wow, for $2 more that is quite the deal. Considering you had to pay $5 in the park for unlimited souvenir cup refills. Only con is that a passholder is unable to take advantage of that. -
The transportation out of Boardwalk Resort is very well done, we never felt like our own car was a better alternative. The buses are comfortable and rarely full, plus the ride time isn't too bad. Personally, I would recommend sticking with the bus to save gas. Also, if you have a little free time, the Boardwalk is a nice place to relax with really great food. There are multiple delicious restaurants, and a fantastic bakery! I remember the bakery had all its items under the meal plan. The coffee cake is simply awesome!

Cedar Point Early Ride Times
beastrider97 replied to fanofFirehawk's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
It's all a matter of luck with the weather at Cedar Point. You can have beautiful days with no rain and every ride running, then the next day pouring rain making every ride come to a stand still. My only wish is that somehow during ERT that it could be told to those waiting that Maverick would not be running, due to it being in the very back of the park and far away from the other ERT rides. Speaking about the weather and TTD, it reminded me of how it took my Dad 4 of our yearly trips to finally be able to ride TTD. On the third year, he was 3 trains away when a very light drizzle started. The ride was immediately shut down and didn't open for the rest of the night. I'll never forget his face when he finally got to ride it after a total of 12 hours waiting over those 4 years. To summarize, at CP you are subject to whatever Mother Nature feels like throwing at you. -
New attraction at Knott's Berry Farm?

You may want to read the TOS, I doubt you want to be graded by being banned. Besides, good grammar helps everyone to understand what you're trying to say. -
New attraction at Knott's Berry Farm?

If a B&M Wingrider cost $30 bucks, I'd build one in my backyard! The only problem is I don't have that kind of land. -

^Add in GCA's new GCI, it is doubtful to see any other huge investments. -
who thinks kings island should get a new wooden coaster?
beastrider97 replied to kicsehlhorst's topic in Kings Island
General advice: If your topic title/opening statement can be answered with a, "yes" or, "no". It would be best not to post as there isn't a way for anyone to expand upon it. -
New attraction at Knott's Berry Farm?

It would be interesting to see whether KBF will get a new coaster or the like in the future. I doubt anything too big next year. Also, this topic would be most appropriate in the Other Amusement Parks & Industry News section. -
I vote for a VTR after every visit to every park you go to! Great video!

Have you specifically been told by an official from the park that a new area will be coming in 2014? If not, then you really can't be a 100% true source. Also, since you don't know what will be in this area, how do you know it's exciting? For all you know, it could be Restroom Land.

^I find it very hard to believe that an intern at the park, who hasn't even started yet, would be told what is happening. Remember, speculation can occur within the offices too. If you truly want this intern job and know for a fact that this is happening, posting about it is a bad idea. And according to the TOS, http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/4128-terms-of-service/ , a source for this information is required. Unless you wish to violate the rules.

^I think the full cost includes the new front gate and whatever work will go on near the ride.
