  1. Totally! They even used the best method possible to ensure structural integrity during transport... while we're talking about space spiral, why couldn't they just send it to another park? SS was a maintenance nightmare and was rarely open. The carriage was ridiculously hot, and it was in general an unpopular attraction.
  2. I'm sure one or two KV enthusiasts will! I believe that 2 kids parks in one park is too much, although some sort of new rollercoaster would of suited me better, but thats just economics! Cedar Point has 4! Personally, I love the way that the kids' parks are spaced out. Happy that Kings Dominion is getting this. Sounds as if their kids' area was lacking.
  3. Already being discussed here. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/26235-kings-dominion-teaser/ In regards to the poll, I voted as expansion as it will most likely be an expansion of Planet Snoopy.
  4. Great to know! She is always very enthusiastic and often makes comments to everyone within a group. Great way to help the story, and make the intro that much better!
  5. Raven is most likely the only coaster I've ridden that I'd say is over-rated. I thought it was good for what it was, but definitely not as good as The Legend and The Voyage.
  6. I think for an Action Zone re-do, Luminosity would be great in the spot where Thunder Alley is now. Add in a new coaster where SOB will be standing for a little while longer, and Action Zone will once again be the home of a significant amount of the "Action" at the park.
  7. ^^Gator, has Mama been the same actress every year that Slaughterhouse has been open? I believe she is, and she is great at what she does!
  8. I think I would be more surprised if it wasn't a DA! attraction.
  9. Boy, who would've thought this topic would start so much argument.

  11. Wolfpack is the maze in the former Son of Beast station, it's probably a step up from the ones I mentioned above. ToT was Trail of Terror, it was regarded as one of the best Haunts and was where DA! is now.
  12. The two that BB1 said are the best, but also the most scary. The least scary would have to be Tombstone Terrortory, Mysteria, Club Blood, and Cornstalkers. For a warmup, maybe walk through a scare zone just to know what the people will be like.
  13. Some more dust has settled on it. In all honesty, when something happens, I'm sure you'll find out without asking.
  14. It is safe. In fact, without that wobbling, the ride would be much less safe.
  15. ^I've always loved the scarzones, Nightmare Alley was great last year. It's always nice having something scary that you don't have to wait in line for.
  16. Most likely the same songs as in previous years, classic rock songs and, of course, Hot Blooded!

  18. I'm personally excited for the new Haunt. A friend of mine was hired as a wax figure in the maze, sounds like it will be creepy. I hope that the queue gets themed, there's so much potential for it. Blood Drums looks awesome! Sounds like my kind of music and, if done right, a great show.
  19. Gave the little I could. Thanks for setting this up StalkerChick, glad I can help the family through the fund.
  20. Neither did I. I did some searching and came across some mention of it. Apparently it didn't go through BB, just a quick pass through.
  21. ^Really? If that's true it was very poorly advertised as I had never heard about it. EDIT: Nevermind, I remember it now.
  22. I'm excited to hear more about the event taking place in Soak City. I wonder if it will be the event held in the picnic plaza moved to Soak City, or make use of things only available in the waterpark.
  23. Even though I only knew him through his posts, I'm in shock. Very saddened to hear of him passing away, especially since I didn't know of his diagnosis. I pray for the best for his family, friends, and children. This next one's for you KIfan1980.
  24. I agree. While both of those parks have their merits, they don't seem to come close to what Great Adventure has to offer.
  25. ^Whoops! Word mix up on my part, for some reason Adventure turned to America in my mind.
