I agree! I love seeing exotic species! But, I don't want them abused.. additionally.. when I go to the circus.. I don't really care what the animals are doing.. seriously, I don't. I come to see the acrobatics and amazing stunts. -
B & M Track Question

How's Nemesis? That ride looks like it's about to bust. I'd be interested in how it rides and furthermore, if it has a good number of years in it before a dearly unfortunate demolition. -

At least they (Cedar Fair) don't do it for feature attractions... yet. -

I would say so! It's quite sad. Thrilling and calm ones alike. -

Conversely, having inversions doesn't mean a ride won't give you that out of control feeling. A coaster doesn't need to NOT have inversions to be good either. -

When was the last time you rode Maverick? I consider it one of the smoothest and Vortex the roughest. Only ridden Mav with new restraints Maverick rides very smooth, as does Vortex, wouldn't you know it.. However, the transitions are the problem with both rides. Vortex has very jerky transitions and causes a lot of people to slam their head on the restraints.. Maverick has GREATLY improved since the new restraints.. but it's still a nuisance and can still leave people with headaches. Their transitions are smooth and don't "pop" into each flip.. but they do so very quickly and with what feels like too low of a heartline.. I always brace for Maverick's twists so I don't get hurt, especially at the end. I always brace for Vortex's transitions, especially right before the loops, and right before the MCBR. -

Still one of my favorites! I dont find to be any more of a rough experience as Maverick at Cedar Point -
They arent supposed to. Sometimes employees charge the customer for the "cup" and charge like 10-25 cents. It's happened before at McDonald's for me too.

Maybe, but it doesn't seem to me that simply having a wooden track alters the launching technology at all.. especially with RMC's style of wooden coaster being like butter (allegedly)
-
Sounds good. I still don't like they're reasoning for it being delayed because it uses "new technology never used on a wooden coaster" Buttt all will soon be irrelevant[emoji14]

For those confused..National Hot Rod Association Top Fuel Dragster This is a coaster/ theme park centric forum so..

0 to 100mph in 1 second would, if constant, be an acceleration of 146.7ft/sec² For comparison.. Xcelerator is 52.3 ft/sec² Top Thrill Dragster is 44ft/sec² Dodonpa is 87.1 ft/sec² *using rcdb launch stats.. whether they are correct or not..* I think 0-100mph in a second may be damaging.. Anyone wanna calculate the G force from accelerations?

I live fairly close to the Indiana border and have considered driving that way just to ride that because I've heard such great reviewsThe trip is worth it for Thunderbird and the Voyage alone. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk But all the coasters are wonderful, even the water coasters are great fun! -

This is true. It's just evidence of his "expertise"Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk Im not saying he's an expert, and he knows and makes it known that he's not an expert.. but the way someone speaks isn't always a tell tale sign of how knowledgable they are.Luckily, if anyone doesn't wanna watch someone on Youtube, you don't have to! -

The MCBR is almost a non-factor? So it DID stop/ trim you that day?Getting mixed signals. -

Joncars05 - possibly making the park value go up before selling? I personally don't know of any evidence for or against strongly suggesting a selling or a flag being planted in the park grounds for a permanent address.(in other words, to stay there long term) But it's not unseen to invest and fix up and pretty a property up before trying to find a buyer, or whilst finding buyers. JCoaster25 - You made my night. I'm very glad to hear that the MCBR did not trim the ride at least on April 23rd Glad that the track still rides great! As a fan of the ride, I love any news of the coaster being well behaved.. but I understand and second-hand know of it's lack of longevity in ride performance.. I somewhat agree with Legend.. I don't think it's a total neuter.. it has an extra pop of air, a faster turn after that.. but I still don't like the flattening of the last turn. That makes no sense to me how that would possibly allow the train to have a longer brake run. -

I can relate there except I love the ride. Roughness (in select years) keeps you from liking the ride, I dont understand, because the elements in the coaster are still great and we know how the ride has been and how it returned to. 2008, wow.. incredible! 2012, what in the world happened to this thing? I think that was when Timberliners were supposed to debut. 2014, finally back to 08's ride 2015, ditto. But.. with the MCBR and Legend's happenings.. I think SOMETHING will be done.. I think it would be a terrible mistake to tear the ride down or to try to replace it. The only path I see that'd make people happy is to have it RMCd... or to continually have it worked on extensively in the off season.. one will probably be much much cheaper in the long run -
For adults without kids, they're probably all only going to Diamondback. There was a blog post that will let you anticipate the ERT lineup before it happens too: https://www.visitkingsisland.com/article/online-fun/Kings-Island-early-ride-lineup-offers-greater-variety-this-year

Im not a huge fan of food treats for reasons that people probably don't care about hehe but I can try the cinnamon bread next time I go. I saw the trail of people heading into the building, so I know exactly where to go!
