I'm surprised no one's caught up on this!

Note to The Vortex, Flight Deck, Beast, and Racer crews (FoF don't count cause he's right about the bad capacity)....tigellinus just called you guys out! The Racer and Beast Crews were some of the best this year.

Yet I doubt this ride wouldn't be near as good without it's speed and hight! I still wouldn't have minded a Maverick style coaster there.

I'd like to see more on this. If the ride "Dropped To Fast", how come he was the only one who got hurt? I've seen that many times it's the Rider and not the Ride that causes the injury.

Good explaining, yet now with the tallest support up all you have to do is walk up near it. WOW!

Diamondback? Fat? Nah! Tall? For Sure!

I began to feel this way after I saw it in person. I'm not complaining (I'm quite happy with the height), it's merely an observation I've made. Also, since the first hill is not far-removed from the midway and also located in a valley (unlike SOB, Vortex, Flight Deck), I think this also adds to the "short factor." Maybe you'll have to see it with the hill and drop completed to see how huge it is.

I love the Flight of Fear. I can understand how the restraints can be problimatic for tallys but I fit in there just fine.

I didn't know "patients" were sacred. I do know that patience is a virtue. Yea I ment Patience It's common. Boats, Plains, Some Automobiles, all fine gals. And Diamondbacks one of the prettiest gals of all!

I'm 12, still learning about the sacred thing called patients. Diamondback is going to be an amazing ride though and I can't wait to see this thing dominating KI's skyline come 2009.

True, but at the time of Flight Deck's addition it wasn't to uncommon.

I was also (and still am) not visually impressed with Diamondback's height. I think without the Arrow/wooden coaster lattice supports that I'm used to seeing on KI's taller coasters (and Cedar Point's as well for that matter) the visual impact is somehow diminished. The gargantuan B&M track and supports also contribute to Diamondback's seemingly short stature. Just go there and see it in person, then you will be blown back on your rear. Trust me, this thing is beautiful.

Line Jumpers. Jesus Christ what makes you think you don't have to wait in line? Smokers in Non Smoking Areas. You know what I respect that youre a smoker whether I like it or not but come on, find somewhere else besides my personal space to blow your smoke please. Those Basketballs. Need I say more? Groups who take up the entire midway. Look, if you don't move I'm going to plow through you! Lazy crews. I swear to god it took the Zephyr's crew 15 minutes to load the ride and get it running. And it's not just Zephyr, they'll text, they'll chat with people in line, they'll talk to the other restraint checkers so much they forget they just checked the restraint and they'll do it again, and you spend more time waiting to go then you do on the ride! People Who knowingly give out false information about a ride to scare people. You know what guys if the ride isn't scary enough already you have to pass of the classic "Someone Died on this ride"? And People who just in general act like they have no respect for others or the enviornment.

1. Hmm, I'd have to say that August was the Best Month with Diamondback, KICentral Day, and the Brady Bunch. 2. Nostalgia did have it's best year. With The Racer Turnaround, new Shows including Totally 80's, and a much cleaner and nicer park, definately felt better. 1. What Roller Coaster had it's best year ever? Probably The Racer. It was smoother then it's been in years, had members of the Bradys for the first time since '73, and got the Nostalgia Bug. 2. Even though I havn't been from what I've seen and herd from others definately. More Monsters, more Haunts, and better Quality. 1. Wings Dinner. 2. Hmm, I'd have to say The Beast crew. Fast and eiffeciant. 1. Nah, definately not. The ride may be more intense but the lack of theme kills it. 2. I'm gonna say Flashback Totally 80s. 1. Hmm, I'm gonna say Racer being turned around and re-tracked. For years I'd never ride it because it was so rough but now it's one of the best at KI. 2. I'm Kinda Glad Paramounts gone. 1. Of course, every year surpasses the last. With the exlusive pics, KICentral Second Coming, and Ryan's Black Hat. 2. I don't want to say that it was the best year ever, but it was a GREAT year. What am I looking forward to the most in 2009? uhh... Diamondback!
