It was confirmed on KICentral day that niether the track or the supports would be filled with sand.

I saw a close up of the track piece, it goes strait untill the very end and then it starts setting up the crown, judging by the concept art and the size of the piece I bet it's the next one to go up, and soon.

Let's see, the last time I was at Coney was, ehh, I can't remember what year exactly. When I went they Didn't have Rock-O-Planes and they did have the Drop Tower thing. I wouldn't be surprised if it was 04 or earlier.

You can see where youre swinging in the front seat, any other seat and youre like "Where the heck am I going?"

Imagine what it will be like walking along the midway and all the sudden a train flys by at 80 miles per hour!
