^It was actually King Maple who stated it in post 58 of this thread. http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?...st&p=194633

^ Oh yeah, you're right. I forgot about them (I only saw the show once). Plus there were the instrumentalists in School of Rock. So I'll revise that: Woohoo! Bringing back the wind instrumentalists! It's been too long without them.

Woohoo! Bringing back the instrumentalists! It's been too long without them. Now if only I had my own tuba instead of relying on the school's!

I find it funny that the brothers' attorney has not commented. He has consistantly said there was no taunting, and now this comes out. Kind of puts the attorney's credibilty (whatever amount he has) in question. Of course, he was going off of what his client's were telling him. Now how much longer he will keep the brothers on as clients is the question. Of course, judging from his past clients, he does like high profile cases!

ACE on American Idol
XGatorHead 8904 replied to Erosarrow05's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
I watched it last night but I forget, what song was he singing? I don't have sound on my computer here at work, so watching the clip does no good helping me remember! And I had a good laugh when he said he was an ACEr. He reminded me of many I have met. -
^ In the 2nd article, it says "Carlos' parents could see that "Paul was changing," but they say they didn't know about his escalating criminal record". Now, tiger mauling aside, this kid was 17, which is still a minor, and his parents had no idea he was getting in trouble with the law? That is what I call great parenting there. Aren't the police notifying the parents when a minor is arrested? Why bother having kids in the first place if you can't instill some respect for rules/laws in them? I'm not referring to any taunting of lions that may or may not have occured, but the other violations he and his friends committed: drinking beer and smoking marijuana in a parking lot, and a month later leading police on a chase at >100 mph, then running from the police after he crashed. And the parents had no idea. I would think my parents would have heard about me being in a high speed chase, why not Carlos' parents? In their opinion their son was an angel. And now he may literally be.

^Then what do you think of?

There's got to be someplace down there that you can get one, but whether it's a good as Penn Station is highly questionable!
-
It is creative in the fact that it makes you wonder "Where the he** did they get that name?" and "What were they smoking when they named it that?" And I had a gyro for lunch, very satisfying, but the onions were a little too strong and I'm still tasting them!

Beaver Land Mine Ride was a kid coaster at Geauga Lake. CF named it that when they bought the park, it was called Roadrunner Express when Six Flags owned it. Beaver Land Mine Ride is considered by some to be one of the worst names for a ride, and I for one have no idea why that name was chosen. Some people on here criticize CF for being unoriginal in the names of their rides, especially with all the "Hawk" coasters, but you have to admit, the Beaver Land name is pretty creative (and out there)...

The dancing kitties were a video that played on the QTV screens. There were 2 or 3 different ones if I remember correctly, the only one that sticks out for me is "I Feel for You" by Chaka Khan. The kitties' movements were very jittery as the sang and played keyboard, guitar and drums. I always found them to be freaky, and will not mourn the loss of them (I never was a cat person!)

In that case, I will refuse to call it by any other name than Scooby Doo! But seriously, Jackson is correct, the tunnel was removed when it became Fairly Oddcoaster. I guess since it was no longer in The Beast family they decided to remove it.

^Yes, and that Pinwheel show went on for hours and hours and hours... -
Some evening pictures of the sign, with the lights on...

Most people? Really? Then MOST people must have some cool new wireless headset that fits comfortably inside the ear, because I only see a FEW people with wires coming out of their ears at the park.
-
Drat, drat and double drat! Ryan, you beat me to it! I don't get up there until 5:20 every day, but I'll probably just swing by and take my own pictures tonight anyway...
-
^ It was still the two poles last night. I will take pictures and load them on here tonight.

Very true, but I think KI's new procedure of not having to have your picture retaken while renewing will help make those lines faster (even though you still have to go to the SP processing center).

Maybe a little! -
Opening day the line usually isn't too bad for SP processing. The longest lines always occur the week (and sometimes up to two weeks) prior to a price increase. These tend to be the end of May and the last few weekends that the park is open. In the past (at least when I worked there, I'm not sure about the past several years), they even opened for season pass processing during the week from 4pm-8pm during the first few weeks of the park being open. If this is again available, and you are able to go then, THAT is the time to go. Lines for processing at these times are virtually non-existant, and you can get right in and right out. I'm sure that if they are doing that again, it will be listed on this website, and definitely on the park's website in the coming months.

Yes, let's trigger those seizures with strobe lights everywhere . Anyway, I wouldn't change a thing. I always loved the look of that big UFO in the hangar. My only complaint was while riding it this year (the only time I got to ride it this year), they had the lights on the whole time. I much prefer riding it in the dark. Have to agree with Hank on that one.

I got the same calendar the day after Christmas at that same store for 50% off. I got that publishing company's roller coaster calendar last year too. It was good, but under the picture of The Raven, they said it was in Santa Claus, ID. Don't they know ID is IDaho, and IN is INdiana? I couldn't stand looking at that mistake all month so I crossed it out and corrected it! -
^^Nice picture! The Scooby Doo, Cauldrons, and the compass on top of Enchanted Voyage, and even pre-Boulder Bumpers! Plus, it answers my comment about why that one section looks like a big long skinny building...I forgot about that stretch of grass near the fence!
-
The building to the left of the red 10 houses HR, wardrobe, Resale and Food warehouse. Below the 10 is actually a fence, not sure why it looks like a big long skinny building on there. The building up and to the right of the 10 houses the Maintenance dept.
