Uh - I am full trained on everything at Vortex - not just Load and Unload. But that is not why it is my favorite. So I take it the TURKEY CALL is the non-violent way to say you're basically shooting turkeys right? Like how in SDATHC you use the "Fright Light Flashlight" to scare away the ghosts?

I thought one of the main reasons it was shutting down was due to low attendence and the fact that it shares a parking lot with the Astrodome. It doesn't matter whos running it - if it has parking problems, it has parking problems. What's with SF parks sharing parking lots with things anyways...

Yeah they can. No they can't!!!!!!! Well - I am sure there are hundreds of better rides out there. Afterall Vortex is just another Ron Toomer "Coathanger Coaster". But it will always be my favorite since it was my first. I could ride the best roller coaster in the world - but I would still like Vortex just a little bit better.

They sure are putting a lot of money into SFGAdv...

Yeah - it looks like such a good park. I really want to ride Dominator and X Flight. It is kind of close to CP though - and I don't know how good it's going to be for Cedar Fair having two large parks that close together.

Or at least out of the waterpark. I was kind of self consious about going to Splashin Safari - but once I got over - I didn't feel that bad. I saw far worse dressed in far less.... At least I'm not hairy and not nearly as fat as some of the other people there!

I think their maintenence would probably be just fine. They are made at different places though. US B&Ms are made at SOFCO, and some Asian ones - but most Asian ones are made over there. Maybe that manufacturer over there only has white paint?

Bandoo? I like Gold Star better than Skyline. But Skyline is OK. I have never been inside Wings before. I know where it is - but have no idea what they sell...

LOL! Silver Bullet and Patriot are ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ALIKE!!!!!!!!!!! Patriot is almost a Talon clone - but a little bit different. But it's nothing like SB - missing the helix, the corkscrews, and the cobra roll. I guess its about as much like SB as Vortex is like The Racer...

I think we saw a few of those at Holiday World last summer...

I do have to agree with Snapper though - alot of Japan coasters are white... I guess they just like the color... There are a few exceptions though. At least Steel Dragon has red track. That one kind of looks like a model too... Just messing - that is actually a cool shot!

FACE/OFF is freakin sweet! One of my favorites! It is smooth and fast and intense! If you think FACE/OFF is rough - go try T2 at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. I really enjoyed it - but it rivaled SOB in roughness. I thought I was going to chip a tooth!

I don't doubt that there are worse rides out there. Manhattan Express looks pretty bad. I am just saying it is probably one of the most painful rides at PKI. Now if it runs smoothly - it is really fun.

I used to like Son of Beast... But it seems that as I lose more and more weight - it gets more and more painful... I don't understand why. Back when I was really fat it didn't bother me at all... I might not ride it again this season - thats how painful my last ride was... Now on the other hand - nobody can deny the Awesomeness that is Vortexâ„¢!!!!!!

Yeah... They were the first photos ever of it. After posting them they got over 1100 hits within an hour - so I took them down temporarily and put them on RCDB. They are still there... Kinda spilled the beans on that one eh?

I like that Tide one because you can see four different brands! Proctor & Gamble, Paramount Pictures, Toyota and BMW! My favorite one has got to be the Folgers Flyers - good to the last snap.

Yeah it does look good. Someone told me it is going to suck cause its a near Talon clone, but I don't think so. I have some close up shots of the Patriot on my website... Taken about two months ago...

Beast has a good night ride - but thats about it. What is cool about The Beast is flying through the woods at high speed. But Raven is even more so. It gets ALOT closer to the trees, and its layout is very twisted - where Beast is mostly straight except for a couple turns. I like Legend better because it is a longer ride, has almost the same amount of airtime - just a little bit less, and its layout is KICK ASS!!!!!!

Oh your bar can be down and you can still not be touching the seat. Take Tomb Raider for example. You have that couple inches between your shoulders and the OTSR. Well on the lava scene - your shoulders are flush up against the OTSR - and those couple inches are now seperating your butt and the seat!
