I know flightoffear1996 is a mod there - so that pretty much says it all...

I remember that. you were suspended for a couple days for bad spelling and grammar. Like - you had run on sentences that were longer than a proper paragraph should be.

PKIC Layout Suggestions
TheKlockster replied to BoddaH1994's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
That would be freakin awesome. I will start developing the new forum graphics - just let me know! -
I am well aware of how to get there - I have been. And I plan to go once or twice next year. Holiday World is definately one of those parks you gotta hit once a year at least. El toro does look good. The beginning of it looks kind of odd. I think I will like Voyage better because its layout is spread out and goes through the woods and except for the first few hills - is very terrain conforming. But El Toro does look good.

I probably won't make it to SFGAdv till 2007 or 2008 to ride El Toro. But at least by then Kingda Ka will be fixed!

How about a HUSS Giant Skooters. You know Ryan - I never got to finish it... Maybe this offseason.

Another innocent hurricane victim
TheKlockster replied to Akira1422's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
No really, it looks like the park was not badly damaged by the Hurricane. I mean of course the flood damage on the buildings will be extensive. But their wood coaster uses steel supports. So corner cutting on Six Flags behalf actually was a blessing in disguise! I heard somewhere the park will reopen, but not as a Six Flags park - but as just a locally owned and operated park. -

Yeah theres like a whole gallery of SFNO pictures out there somewhere. SFNO Pics There are some excellent pictures here. -
Yes the ride is very much watered down from what it used to be. Also I don't think it does as many high swings as it used to. It does more swings - but I think it only does one BIG swing - and it is not as high as it used to be. Where at the top of the swing, you used to feel a floating sensation - now it goes up, the whole gondola wobbles, then it reverses direction. There is very little airtime feeling now, and the ride is very boring. I have only been on it once or twice since they "fixed" it and both times it was not thrilling whatsoever. I got off the ride wondering what I would ride next - Troika or Monster... Rides with REAL airtime and Thrills. And as far as rides that are closed - Son of Beast, White Water Canyon, Congo Falls and Scrambler are closed for the year. Then there are day to day changes too - like last Friday, Troika was closed. Then Green Slime Zone is some kind of walk through Halloween attraction.

Try 3.5 to 4 hours from Cincinnati. Louisville is 2 hours, and Holiday World is 1.5 to 2 hours west of Louisville.

The loop is still exciting - just not as crazy as some of the other elements. The loop is still exciting - just not as crazy as some of the other elements.

The park is extremely crowded.

It seems like Delirium isn't swinging high as many times. I was there getting video of it today - and it does seem like its shorter - and I noticed it doesn't seem to be going as high. It used to be a really cool ride - like till it reopened.

I like the Arrow Boomerang - also known as a Batwing. This is what the last two inversions of Vortex is made of. It is similar to the sidewinder and cobra roll to so those are good. 1,500th post

Yeah it was great tonight. I see nobody rode Vortex - except Coasters RZ. Gotta keep riding Vortex and show park management it is the best ride in the park!

^ LOL!

I am a first year and I got my first pick! Of the rides you said you would not work - the two that I have worked are actually really fun. The Train is so cool - very easy and relaxed and just fun in general to work. Action Theater is awesome - I wish they would make it Vortex/Troika/Action Theater! Don't do Delirium or Face/Off - they just aren't any fun. And Combat - he said Wild Thornberries WOULD be cool for him to work. Arrow Flumes - OD Hopkins Flumes - they're all flumes!

Classic battle of the ACErs vs the Ride Ops. Only one of the Ride Ops is an ACEr...
-
I don't doubt it...

Well if you work next year - then you get to pick. Do a coaster - since you're more of a coaster person. Delirium and Tomb Raider I would not recommend. I got a sunburn working Delirium that took over a month to go away. Also it just isn't that fun to work. Tomb raider is also kind of dumb cause half the positions on the ride are queue line positions! I recommend something like Vortex/Troika or Racer/Monster or Flight of Fear/Zephyr. A coaster and a flat are good! You seem like you would do well on The Beast though or on Racer since they are classics and you're into that. Plus you've got the membership card and all!

I joined both - but after the merge - my PKIU posts were added to my PKIC account - so it was the PKIC account that matters. My member number on PKIU was like in the upper nine hundreds, but 440 on PKICentral. I always see myself as more of a PKIC member than a PKIU member. So yeah I was a member of PKIU - but once they merged - it just made things more conveneient cause I could just stay at PKIC the whole time. PKIU was ok - there were good things and bad things about it. It had a good layout and content - but the forums had a lot of ***holes on it.

You should work at The Vortex - the Best ride in the park!!!!!!! LOL! But I see you working at Beast or Racer - you seem to be into those kinds of rides.
-
Ooooh - owned by a HW Fanboy! Ouch!
-
Sieg Legend Rider? WTF VICTORY LEGEND RIDER! That's what that means!!!! LOL Sieg Heil is Hail Victory! I wouldn't call Beast fanboys Nazis (as nazi is short for the national socialist german workers party) but I would say they need to get out more. Ride a few hundred other coasters and still say Beast is your favorite...
