I am working on a Winterfest logo for Avatars right now.

My name is pronounced Clock - even though it is spelled Klocke. The E is silent... Hence - KLOCKSTER! And - Revolution is OK. I rode Super Roundup at Coney Island. They just make my stomach hurt - and I don't knwo why. I never get sick on rides - but I think if there was one ride I would get sick on it is Revolution. Super Roundup made me feel sick but not like Revolution. That ride is way too intense!

Well I got splashed really bad on the ride - and I didn't even want to ride it in the first place - but THIS GUY MADE me do it! I was so ticked off! I wanted to ride Paul Reveres Midnight Ride but noooooooo. Anyways I got splashed really bad and I was afraid if it got too hot outside my shorts would catch fire!

Like I said - I have the slowest connection on PKICentral.com - and 100x100 loads fine for me. Theres no reason to not allow larger Avatars - unless the staff just has a personal preference against them. What do you say? We should have a 100x100 avatar revolution!

I was wondering if there was any way that avatars could be 100x100 instead of 64x64. I can pretty much guarantee that I have the slowest connection of every member on this forum - and I visit other forums with 100x100 avatars - and they work just fine. Since my good computer broke, and my old one can't use Roadrunner, I am currently on a 28.8 kbps dialup connection. If that wasn't bad enough I am using AOL 5.0!!! And like I said I have no problem loading them. Even on such a slow connection it only takes an extra split second. So what do you think?

How did everyone's last day go? I worked all day, but I got to go home early so I got a couple rides in. I got to ride on the last Vortex train of the season - so I am really happy about that! It was a good end to an awesome year. Here is the PKICentral.com Staff in line for the second best ride in the park, with the BEST ride in the park as the backdrop.

Thats what I heard but it seems to be a rumor that comes up every season. I hope it is true this time. I need to get my credits on Serpent and Screechin Eagle - and prove that Eagle uses NAD trains. I already have the credit on Little Dipper... When I went to coney this year there was one of those paddle boats in lake como, and there were 4 people on it. Two large men in the front, a very large woman on the back driver side and a small child on the back passenger side. The boat was lopsided and looked like it was going to capsize! Then they approached that little floaty barrier thing and made a sharp turn to the right. The side with the most weight on it got deeper and deeper in the water - and I seriously thought it was going to flip over!!!!! But it didn't, so I got on the scrambler. Their scrambler is pretty good - not as good as PKIs - but its decent.

I am sure that when they theme it to Christmas - the theming will be nothing more than like a Christmas tree and some presents. They will keep it general and secular - not go into any religions. A manger would offend some people, and an menorah would offend some people. They will hopefully keep it totally secular with Santa Claus and presents and stuff like that. After it is Winterfest not Christmasfest or Hannukahfest.

IAAPA always sounds really cool. You can go and be the first to ride some of the new rides that are coming out - before anybody even finds out about them. Plus you get to see some of the new concepts - like the Intamin 4D coaster. And you can meet people like Bolliger and Mabillard. If they ever had it around here I would definately go.

I don't believe a tornado ever hit PKI. They had some strong winds or downbursts or something - but not a tornado. And don't forget about that one guy that got struck by lightning in PKIs parking lot. Sued the park because they didn't tell him there was lightning in the area... What an idiot. It's not like you can look up in the sky and tell theres a thunderstorm on top of you.

Don't wanna buy all of Lesourdsville's rides if they really are reopening next year. And the water in Thunder Bumpers on Chessapeake Bay is pretty gross. It is the bumper boats ride at Holiday World. I think PKI is cool the way it is. Sure there are some rides I would like to see there - like the Jump2 and the TopScan. Maybe a new large steel coaster. But I think the park is great as it is. They should put in a Vekoma MK-1200 if they install a new steel.

You can't forget the santa hats on the ride operators!!!!

It probably means the employees will be wearing santa hats, or there will be some ornamental garland at the ride entrance.

OMFG TURKEY CALL! Multiple PLCs? Hmm I know of other rides with multiple logic controllers... I can't believe they just randomly decided to add something to the Voyage. Maybe theyll take out an airtime hill and do something innovative. I mean on that latest pic you posted, it looks like theres only one airtime hill, and the big crane is gone... To add something, that means somethign else is being taken out - which means that it will probably have less airtime. Like maybe 20 seconds of air instead of 24 or whatever it was. But I am happy - I would rather see a kick ass layout than a little bit of airtime.

Construction will be commenced after a large turkey dinner at which the first gobbler will get away and canobiefan would be unbanned.

My whole time at the park this summer I only recall one thing being hit by Lightning and it wasn't any of those three... But it was right next to one of them.

Lets just delete the Voyage topic and concentrate on this masterpiece.

I have no doubts that Voyage will totally blow Raven out of the water - a task that isn't too hard to accomplish. I really do love Legend though - and whether or not Voyage is better than Legend is totally decided by the track layout AFTER the stupid airtime hills.

Yes, please get photos! I think from the looks of it KY Rumbler will be better than Voyage... I would much rather follow its construction than Voyages.
