  1. You could send one every day with the Birthdays.
  2. Kentucky Rumbler looks like its got the air like Voyage - but a kick ass layout. And when have I ever said OMFG T3H BEAST. Vortex is better.
  3. OMFG LIEK THATS SO AWESOM3! It will be kind of cool if its 90 degree banked one way, then goes to 90 the other way - like half of a heartline roll... I would rather see it go all the way though.
  4. Those photoshops are funny! The things I will miss most about Jeff are his videos. The Son of Beast Witch Project was ok... but the TOMB RAIDER THE RIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE was freaking hilarious. It is a must see if you haven't seen it! Also it was always a highlight to be driving, and sending a train - then seeing Jeff Siebert sitting in the best seat on the best ride in the park! Vortex 71 baby!!!
  5. PKIs newsletters are too frequent - and usually just have stuff in them everyone knows. Occasionaly they do have NEWs though...
  6. Man that looks amazing. It looks even better than Voyage now!
  7. I like the hotdogs at Goblin Burger. Actually I haven't had one - but Kringles Pizza is dang delicious!
  8. I may or may not go. If I do go I will only go once. I don't like Christmas, and it doesn't have anything for me to do. I would like to get back in the park sometime in the offseason - but even if they do not do a construction tour, and I do not go to Winterfest, I will still get to go in the park sometime in December.
  9. ^ lol Since saying "^ lol" is a violation of TOS Ill put in my two cents. It is a good idea if its not done too regularly. Sending stuff out every two weeks with nothing on them is not a good idea though: Hello PKICers, Not too much going on now. As you clearly know, PKI reopens next April. So we have about six months. I got a speeding ticket the other day. Dane got his hair cut. Also, Nexigen is upgrading the SQL version - so just to let you know - not that you will notice any difference in appearance or performance... Regards, Ryan See - as stupid as that sounds - I actually get stuff like that from some other forum websites I am registered on - and they send mail out like weekly. So if you kept it intelligent and like once a month in the offseason - or maybe every 2 months in the offseason - and every two weeks in the main season - then it would probably be pretty cool.
  10. Theres some pieces of this ride sitting in the CSF Yard - I saw them today. There are also some gigantic coaster supports - I don't know what they are for though but these tubes are almost as wide as the B&M spine itself!
  11. Yes - unless the ice was so thick the brake fin itself couldnt fit through the gap!
  12. What? Do you have any idea how Drop Zone's breaks work?
  13. I think ACE may be having its offseason thing there this year. It was at Wonderpark last year. I heard they had a train on Boa Squeeze overloaded so much that even with the lift off, it overshot the station and went halfway up the lift again.
  14. I don't think the Bobsled will be open during Winterfest. It is a little cold to be Bobsleding. Dang - we never got to do the PKIC Bobsled Team run did we? I got to do a Vortex/Troika/FOF/Z run - and I know PKIC did a few runs... Man... Good times...
  15. The ads only work if you click on them. I remember Dane asking me to click on five or six so he could get a cheeseburger.
  16. That is a really neat idea though! I would love to see the park do something like this! They could turn drop zone into the ball drop. String lights all over the chair ring and drop it so it hits the bottom right at midnight. That would be awesome!
  17. There are some good movies - including onride on Delirium - at Coasters2K.com.
  18. The higher ups. The behind the scenes management type people.
  19. Whatever it is called, it sucks big time. The park is excellent though. T2 is awesome. I got to ride it twice!!! And as far as losing weight - I fit on Howler at Holiday World... And that is NOT stradling the lap bar - like some ACErs have done... I had both legs under one side of the T bar - like you are supposed to. So it is not that big of a problem... Some ACErs have like put one leg under each side of the T bar - so their ass effectively takes up two seats! I took up only one seat. If I was PKIDelirium I could have rode with someone's son.
  20. I am going with the office people/higher ups. It is because of them that everything is so well managed and streamlined - and that the park can be run as well as it is. I mean - you can't write its excellent operation to a bunch of teenagers who happen to be genetically equipped with the knowledge to run a theme park. It is the managers and office staff that keep the park well staffed and keep all the operations going smoothly. Also Communications is a vital and totally unrealized (by the general public) portion of park operations. As far as ride operators go - I think every area has its good and bad people. But overall I would say the best areas are Coney and Rivertown. The HB people seem kind of stressed out, at least whenever I am there... As far as Action Zone goes - the only people I have ever seen smiling and acting like they enjoy their job are some people on the FACE/OFF crew. I have to say that I hate working the ride - but the crew itself and the guests there make it good. It seems like in Coney Mall and Rivertown, the associates really enjoy their rides. They may not be record holders, except Beast, but they are classics and loved by millions. You wouldn't believe how many people have Shake, Rattle and Roll as their favorite ride... And I think the majority of the associates like to have fun with the guests and have fun working and guest relating.
  21. I don't even remember anything after the immelman. I remember the drop and the loop - thinking wow this is cool. Then I remember pain. I couldn't tell you anything about the layout - I was just hoping it would end. It did not make a good first impression for B&M... One thing I do remember is trying to take the strain off my legs by sitting on the "seat". Not a good idea if you're a guy. Overall - that ride sucks. I would rather ride anything than Chang. I would rather do a couple laps on Roller Skater or Taxi Jam than ride Chang again.
  22. I can't wait to ride SheiKra. And Chang hurts like hell - especially when you are large and you have a bruise on your leg 7 inches wide with a big blood clot in the middle of it - and you're standing with all the g force on your feet.
  23. That sucks. I did not get any park food this entire year!!! I bought a couple milkshakes from Happy Days but that was it - and really those are more drinks than food. I have got calzones from real LaRosas however... That winterfest food does sound VERY expensive. Ill probably just pick up some fast food before going to teh park. The only reason I am even going is to get some pictures of the stuff. I don't skate and I don't like Christmas all that much. Bah humbug!
