  1. Yeah none of those rides are that bad.
  2. You were caught double posting. Go back 500 spaces.
  3. I know what you are talking about - and I hate it when people do that! Why can't they just leave it alone! It isn't just there for decoration!
  4. "You lose the Rides Trained At contest two years in a row, both times to people level oned on seven Coney Mall rides. Pay 50 dollars to the PKI Scholarship Fund, and go back five spaces."
  5. Your ride breaks down in the early part of the season and experiences extended downtime. Your crew merges with another crew. You get sent every day. Go directly to South Pie, call back with your charge out time, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.
  6. Get awesome air in Vortex 72. Pay TheKlockster 100 dollars.
  7. Looks great. Do you by any chance have a picture of this swoop?
  8. LMFAO I was wondering if there was a way to use that... LMAO
  9. Exactly! I know when I ride Vortex I just put my hands on my knees... One thing I would fix though is that I would put the TOP GUN style restraints on Vortex. They look the same - but ask any employee that has worked both - the TOP GUN ones are WAAAAAAY better. They are really easy to lift up when they are down, and they stay up until the platen is lowered.
  10. I hate drawing the card that says - take a walk on the boardwalk - when someones got a freaking hotel on it. I love Monopoly though - have played regular, millenium edition, star wars, star trek and astronomy editions. I need to get the PKI edition if they still have it next year. Here is one... "You are promoted to Rides Operations Manager. Pay each player 100 dollars."
  11. I think if I was married and had a couple mini-klocksters running around - I might go to Winterfest. But unless I go to a park with some friends, I am usually by myself. But if I was a family guy, or a big Christmas fan - I would probably go. And yeah, I am known as the guy who during Fearfest packed his lunch every day to avoid having to walk from Vortex to the employee cafeteria, which would force me to go through either cornstalkers or areas where scareactors are on the prowl...
  12. Actually I don't like either. But I think its fine if other people like them. I can't really judge Winterfest cause I didn't go. All I know is what people post on here.
  13. I said there is nothing for me at Winterfest. That cannot be considered an incorrect statement.
  14. I didn't go to Winterfest. I might have if there were any real rides open, and it was only like 10 bucks for GP to get in. Winterfest is the kind of thing that attracts the same kind of people who wait 2 hours to ride IJST. And I am not one of those people...
  15. "You use your cell phone to flag a proximity sensor causing a block violation on one of the parks roller coasters. Go directly to jail, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars." "You eat eight hamburgers at an ACE event. Loose a turn and go take some antacid." "You somehow get into the park on a moped, and drive around the backroads without being caught by security, even though they are looking for you. Go directly to go."
  16. LOL!!!! YOU USE THE HANDLES!!!!
  17. Gotta love black restraints. Orange or red restraints just don't cut it.
  18. Drinking beer straight from the bottle? BRILLIANT! Sounds good trexrage1993!
  19. They should get the new style lapbars. Beast has a few. Some of the ones on Racer have them too. Like theres some seats where I am stapled in with 2 clicks, and others where I am comfortable with 3 and can even get 4 and not be stapled in. If we had the Holiday World style Lap Bars - they have little tiny clicks. I can get like six or more.
  20. I have seen pieces of that up at CSF but didn't know who it was going to. They have a lot of unpainted pieces sitting outside also.
  21. I think they clean and paint that tunnel every off season.
  22. Yeah I have to agree with the resident culinary expert on this one. Disney has a huge variety of things to do. From small children to extreme thrill seekers - everyone can find plenty to do at Di$ney. PKI seems to be taking the stance that thrills are dead - and the future is theming. It takes a combination of the two. You can't take a low thrill ride and poorly theme it and consider it a blockbuster attraction. I think the whole reason PKI wants to hold onto the biggest kiddie land title is for people who can't decide between Cedar Point and PKI. If they have kids, they will choose PKI. Also a large Nickelodeon themed area will draw in hordes of families, whose kids love Nickelodeon. What kiddie themes does CP have? SFKK has Looney Tunes which isn't watched a whole lot anymore. Holiday World has the Holidog -as if anyone has ever heard of that before. In 1999 and 2000 we saw a huge high thrill expansion. We got the scariest ride in the park, and the two most intense. Then for the last few years they have been focusing on family and kid motifs. So hopefully in the next few years - if they must retire any of the high thrill rides, they will replace it with something that will keep balance in the park.
