So Avatar really is a Disk'O? Thats stupid. The thing has a 48 inch height requirement I think. And it isn't even a coaster - it is a flat ride. At least I got my Ghoster Coaster credit when it was still around.
-
LMAO - yes it is! Cake is freaking awesome! Well not awesome - but I like them. I was just making a random post that was as far off topic as possible in response to Legend Riders post of near equal worth.
-
I wonder how they got the camera past the lap bar monkeys.
-
You also need divx to view the videos on my site - including the award winning Vortex ultimate video. Are you Ready to Go?

Amateurs...

Some people like Pepsi, some people like Coke. The wacky morning DJ says Democracy's a joke.

Who the heck would want to ride a Green Day ride anyway.
-
Hahahaha! I love it! I look forward to seeing ACE get pwnt.

Opening Day Now Official!

So just the three? Oooookay.... I am going to wait till late June to go to Holiday World, so that hopefully it won't be as packed at Voyage. I can get my couple rides in and then enjoy short lines on Legend - cause everyone will be at Voyage. I will be there this opening day at PKI - the best theme park within a 40 mile radius of Cincinnati - most likely working. I really hope to get to some of the other parks in this area far better than PKI - like Holiday World, Six Flags Great America and Indiana Beach this year. -
I think they should build PKICentral: The Ride.
-
If they operate it anything like how they conducted themselves at Beast Bash, you're going to have to be a member of their little club or fight with them to be able to go.
-
I have no doubts that the general public will find out what Avatar is before opening day. If you find out today, or find out April 14th - does it make that big of a difference? And if you want to attend ACE events - it only costs 50 bucks to join ACE. If you're that big into coasters - go for it. If not - don't complain about not being allowed into ACE events.

There is only one ride concept that has appeared on the surveys that would make an acceptable - not great - but acceptable replacement for Vortex - and that is the Addams Family coaster - and that is only if they make it intense. If it had inversions, and was at least 100 feet high - it would be awesome. Knowing Paramount though, theyd probably make it 30 feet high with no inversions. But - Corkscrew at Silverwood theme park is 11 years older that Vortex - and still operating. Loch Ness Monster is older than Vortex too. So if PKI removes Vortex - it is just because they are making a really st00pid marketing decision.
-
They have enough The Rides at Paramount Parks. We need some kind of Star Trek experience. It is like the longest lasting Paramount brand and their most successful. I think they are holding out on it so that people go to Star Trek: The Experience.

How many of these threads are there now?

Naturally, you must be a member of ACE to attend an ACE event...

What exactly is going to happen in HB?
TheKlockster replied to BarkerCounty182's topic in Coming Attractions
Ok - I know for a fact that is wrong. I would usually flick the propellers to make them spin, as the cars left the station. But they would stop eventually. -
If you think about it - thats basically a Frisbee - its just moved a different way.
-
But what I am saying is you aren't going to find a ride in kiddie land that kids can't ride! Even 44 inches is a pretty discriminatory height requirement. A great number of kids do get turned away at Reptars greeter.
-
And IJST isn't in kiddie land. That is why I think it won't be a Disk'O. That and the idea that the Disk'O looks REALLY st00pid.
-
LOL Thanks I mean - it is common sense. Ghoster Coaster had a 36 inch height requirement. They aren't going to tear that down, and put in something with a 48 or 54 inch requirement. It is going to - AT MOST - have a 44 inch height requirement.

If they did nothing - I don't think Matt would have made an ass out of us. I know he knows alot about the ride - I saw him there one day working on it. -
There is also a Disk'O like coaster that is made by Intamin called a Half-Pipe coaster - but it looks too big to be a family coaster. What I am wondering is - can children 44 inches ride a Disk'O - with or without a hump? Because this new coaster is going to have to have a 44 or maybe even 36 inch requirement.

With boat rentals! That would be pretty cool!
