Hello KIC, First I would like to thank everyone in attendance. You all know who you are "RIDE WARRIORS" Kings Island beckoned. And we came from all across the country to answer the call. I won't be getting into any great detail. If that's what your looking for I could care less. (yes Terp I know that means I care a little) So that's why if you are looking for details there are many Great TR's with Excellent informative detailed accounts. Some of which contain "Way too much fun" All of which I've read and have really enjoyed reading. And the photo's are truly amazing. Bravo Honestly I wasn't going to post a TR this time. But panning through picture's I felt some had to be shared and commented on. Now I bet there was a KIC member on almost every DB train that day. 5 out of 8 pics I took you could make out at least a shirt. The Beast walkback is always a treat for me. Always one person willing to smile for the camera And by the way Happy B-Day Big Guy!! As if you didn't know Ride Warriors do it in the dark! A tribute to ACE. Maybe next year one to the group who boasts 22 people on one DB train This next one really sums it up. Every coaster enthusiasts dream. 1 train=1 person. He actually rode twice in a row like this! To ALL of those who made this possible. From the big wigs to the person that finalized the e-mail it can't be said enough Thanks!!

I wasn't even considering bringing my camera, but this sounds like a good contest. I almost bet someone from KIC is gonna win this. Since we're sending them to the park, I take it this will be for anyone who attends the event? CoasterMania 2009 has got a mini golf tourney and a film festival. With some awesome awards!

Wow, they have a dryer for a whole person. Quite amazing, although for $5 I better feel a WHOLE lot dryer! What do you think of the new Dyson restroom hand dryers? Pretty spiffy huh.

Words to live by! That actually was my personal statement till I changed it to "Keep it simple to keep it cool" a little more younger eye friendly. Agreed!! I have a seminar in Chicago and plan on visiting Great America for the first time. Also my sister has a few performances in Ashville and I would love to see her then hit Carrowinds. It's gonna be a good summer!

The VIP at Cedar Point looks to be somewhere on my to-do list. We were waiting for Mean Streak last year and a couple of gentleman came up with a park personel. The lady from the park told us to please wait while they rode. No problem with me I was just wandering why.. Well I found out later they had purchased a VIP package, and found out some details on it. After that all I could do is wonder why MS with all the other options?!? Ahhh what am I saying! I would've been there too!

Nice trip report so far. The updating one topic is a nice idea. Sounds like you Gators' know how to have a good time. I can hardly wait to bring my youngn's. Passing by all the rides you mentioned make me want to go jump on , but would probably be a little awkward. I also recognized a few of those old rock songs. Great to hear some of what there playing but would have to agree it all has an appropriate time and place in the park. I don't think my kids need to wake up with the "Doors" in Nick U. Keep up the updates and let us know what you think of Diamondback.<---I already know what that's gonna be.

How are the lines for FOF, Firehawk, Vortex, and even DB? FH 45 min. Vortex 30 min. and DB I wouldn't know the SRL has been about a ten min. wait all day!

Well I'm sitting here at the ET taking a break. The park is barely crowdedand the day has been great so far. I planned on getting a couple rides in on DB and so far have gotten 10 which is awesome. Although I wasn't expecting the G's to have such an effect on me but after 4 rdes in a row I needed to sit down. So far I've run into Cory B., Gordan B., C. Nemo, and ridden with Adventure 2007, and Flying Eagles who's friend has ridden 60 times since opening day!!! Also got in SOB, Beast, and DT. Thought a little live update would be fun. Hope you enjoyed.

Nice TR Jonathan. I've heard some mixed reviews on The Beast this year. I personally thought there was still the usual rough spots with the exception of the double helix. I think La Rosas is still the best place in the park to fill up, but then again that's a pizza guy talking. I'm planning on taken advantage of the ERT tomorrow and getting a chance to hit DT, SOB, and some others a few times. I learned a valuable lesson on opening day. ALWAYS pack sunscreen.

I also would have thought Vortex would be running all three trains last Saturday, which it was not. The same is true with Adventure Express, but I'm not sure it needed the third judging by the lines, or should I say, lack thereof. Don't worry, Tiggy. I'm sure you can expect the usual essay from me, as I plan on doing that for all of the trips I take this year. There's never an absence of anyone else's tr's either. I'm certain you don't have to worry. We've got you covered! Votex was running 3 trains until around 1. They had problems with one train and it was taken off.

Avatar, It goes without saying your detailed Trip Reports are highly anticipated by all of us. And this was no excepton. It was great hanging out with you I'm glad we got the chance.

Great find on the camera. I wouldn't have thought to look for it. Also that list is not that lame, you have two on there I'll probably never even ride.
