  1. Scobby is not; but most of the cartoons for Scooby do, had monsters and alliens in them. The mystery was a scarry theme, Scooby and Shagy were always scared.
  2. You, Tom and Angie came through? Darn, I'm just missing everyone as they come through. The only ones I saw were Ryan, Robbie, Karen, Peanut and keiko_coaster. And when I saw Peanut, I couldn't decide if it was her or not. By the time I decided it was, it was too late to say anything. Peanut has been through a few times, and we will make another pass through this Friday. On opening night we were in the 1st or second group to go into SH
  3. There is nothing scary about Charlie Brown, unless it's Peppermint Pattie beating him up. It's hard to think up anything dark and scary for a Peanuts theme that could operate year round.
  4. Mom Peanut felt the same way; Mom got close and said it looked like the stuffed toys and suckers that were awarded last year. Our kids didn't understand why they couldn't go from game to game and play like they did last year. Mom said the lines were allot smaller this year than from last year. The park is worth it, just having to pay-per-play "is the pits". Tractor Town is a hay bale maze that you ride around on little peddle John Deere Tractors in the maze (ages 2-6 in size). Hope this info helps and some feel is accurate.
  5. Thanks everyone! I was at work and mom and the kids were at the park calling me on the phone. I didn't get to list everything she was telling me. As I had as posted, I had planned on a full detail when I got home from work this evening with moms help. But there are differences from prior years; and I don't understand why the kids are the ones who have to pay for it. The games are a charge this year, and YES there are FREE things for the kids also. If someone wants to chastise me for giving people heads up, then so be it....
  6. Will do. Can even make it even like a trip report.
  7. screaming rings 50 cents halloween duck hunt 2.00 per play tin man tragody 1.00 per bean bag pumpkin bash 1.00 for 5 bean bags monster muffin 50 cents ball sticky fingers 1.00 stuff the scarecrow 50 cents for 3 bean bags terror tower 2.00 per play cotton candy 2.00 drink (punch) 1.00 Wife read them to me as she walked the area.
  8. Not sure where you got this information. I'm at the park, and I don't see anyone opening their wallet for Howl-O-Fest. Let's make sure we have all the facts before we blast the park. My wife is there right now... and she does know what she is seeing....
  9. Mom just called with the kids from the kids area in the picnic grove. Everything is on a pay basis this year. Has Kings Island looked at the economy? Not like last year where you could take the kids and let them do the little games for free. Kings Island really needs to think this one out.... It's not even worth going to the park for the kids area if they are going to charge. (I was going to say nickle dime'd; but the prices mom said she seen are not nickles or dimes; they were quarters and dollars. Each candy stop is a single piece of starburst. Same candy at each stop.... KI is getting cheap this year. They do get one of the small pumpkin gords for free.
  10. I heard they butchered them, some are a bit choppy; others have been slashed.
  11. Calling for Rain But we will still be coming.........
  12. This is what worries me. In a true professional environment, animals could not be stressed past a certain point. Moving animals too much in an unfamiliar place certainly qualifies in this category. Very simply put, so does throwing animals out on display. In an aza environment, for example, animals would undergo a minimal 30 day corontine before ever being placed in view of the general public. ( at least without walls or glass ) This is typically to ensure the animal is not sick, and cannot spread disease to other members of its species if it is. I am curious to see where the animals are coming from. Private owners, or a zoo. I am highly doubting that it is a zoo. And if they are private, what are their licenses or certifications. I would also like to know what animals are going to be used for the petting zoo, and especially for the mazes. I am not trying to start argument. I am just saying that I am curious to know these things. Sorry, but it's just me being..well, ME. It was stated on the news, they are owned by an employee. This makes them private and no need for licenses or certifications.
  13. The kids said "Bring it on" :_ I can't wait to scare Peanut too... and the funny thing is, you most likely don't know what I look like or who I am. But I've seen Peanut at the shows plenty of times to know who she is. Just listen for a strange voice saying "Peanut"... That will be cool for Peanut.
  14. How will know it's you? The pink wig? or another form of dress?
  15. Any other info on this? Like John Deere tractors?
  16. thats different from normal how? O:) hahaha kidding! I'll be running around the entrance to Urgent Scare. Can't wait to scare Peanut The kids said "Bring it on" :_
  17. Hopefully the prices are FAIR; and not being Pirated from us.
  18. Peanut, Red and Family Yes
  19. True, How about Scooby, Scrappy and Don as a Big Pink Bunny?
  20. Yep, Nothing about real animals.... Just might be Snoopy, Woodstock and Don.
  21. If you would like people to view your facebook; Then maybe you could take the privacy setting off?
  22. Has anyone seen it in writing that there are going to be animals? Maybe it's Snoopy, Woodstock and Don Helbig? Just maybe?
  23. Those links do not look correct; when you click them, they only show a box on the left as to what is in someones checkout basket, no buttons to purchase anything or any prices of what you are purchasing. Both are the same link; so how do you get renewal page and new pass page on the same link?
  24. You are incorrect - how would you know if "we haven't received anything in the mail from the park"? I sure got something in the mail yesterday! I think someone needs to read more. I said I as in "ME" and my family did not receive anything in the mail from the park. There is nothing in my statement about you not receiving anything. As of 9/16/09 MY FAMILY still has received nothing in the mail from the park.
  25. The park schedule says shows only today and tommorrow. Anyone know if by chance they will have any shows on Monday? Peanut wants to know. Edit: The cast says on Monday, they will have the 80's only...
