Klown Band and Hanna Characters and parking
FrankNfreak replied to hamoperator's topic in Kings Island
I enjoyed the dj in front of the theater...I nearly fell over when he mentioned Dixie Electric Co..wow..talk about a blast from the past...spent many nights there. (This is where everyone under 40 says "what is the Dixie Electric Co.") -
the majority of people saw a split second of him in the air...I suppose the people with the best view were the people CF could nickle and dime for a grandstand seat...from the video I took..it didn't even look like he made it....he is coming down with 6-7 more trucks to clear. Regardless of what I say..or what my opinion is..there are always going to be people on here who disagree with me...it seems like team sport

Lots of people walked back up through Timberwolf grumbling that it had been a waste of time...I wish I would have not bothered.

While in the past there has been a lot of abuse of the disability policy, I can tell you that this year it has greatly improved. Having personally taken someone around the park who has a disability and is wheel chair bound, I learned first hand how the system has greatly improved. First off, you can no longer just go up to the exit of a ride and hop on, you first must visit guest relations and receive an Attractions Boarding Pass. There at Guest Relations, my friend notified them of his physical limitations and they helped him consult on what would be recommended for him to ride and what wouldn't, then you receive your Attractions Boarding Pass. This pass allows you to go up the exit of a ride, however, once you get there you must present the pass to a ride attendant. If the line is under a half an hour they will let the person with the pass and one additional rider (until this year it was three additional riders) board the ride. If the line is over a half an hour they will write you a time on your pass, stamp it, and you are free to come back at that time (Note: you can not have any other active times written on your pass when you go to get a new time, in essence: you can only wait in one line at a time). Now if you have more than 2 people in your group, you can have your group wait in line while the person with the pass and one other wait at the exit, then just notify the ride operators and they will help you all get paired together, thus everyone waits an equal time. I was really impressed with how the system was executed this year. My wife was wheel chair bound for 4 months after foot surgery..when we went to Top Gun we were told they would stamp that paper and we could come back..which we told them never mind...who wants to make two trips clear back there. Maybe if they had an employee at the entrance of the queue. Or maybe you could have planned ahead, and you know, just sent one person with the pass to go get it stamped as is something indicated on the sheets.. You were probably too busy creating other user names and ripping cigarettes out of peoples hands though. Mmmkay..someone needs to lay off the cough syrup

How many of those babes have full sets of teeth? Sometimes I take charity cases like your sister for rides..I confess

Well...I had an 883 Sportster that I rode for 8 years until I recently sold it to buy a new bike. Never had a problem with it...EVER. Two months ago I bought a 2008 Fatboy...and I gairrrawwwnnteee I am getting more babes on teh back of it that you get on that rice burner of yours

So people who are wheel chair bound are not allowed to ride in the front seat of the car? WOW...be thankful you have the ability to walk or even stand in line. What a shallow butthead you must be that you can't wait for ONE MORE CAR.

If I'm a biker? And ohhhhh.... By the way, it's a Honda Cruiser .... By Choice. Sorry.. I thought you was a real biker..I used to run with Horsemen up in Hamilton..we rode real bikes..Harleys

Evel used to "wing it?" OK, as a biker and a guy that grew up watching Evel, please tell me how Evel "Winged" it. On a side note, I've asked several people that don't seem to know, either. What/who is the pic on your avatar? Evel didn't have the team of people who did all the calculations for the jump like Robbie does...I grew up watching Evel too. If your a biker than you know that Evel used old Harley AMF dirtbikes that weighed a ton...Robbie uses lightweight rice burners. There is not the level of danger with Robbie's jumps as there is with Evel's. My AV is Liberal pundit and part time comic Al Franken...FRANKNFREAK

I will use the jump as an opportunity to hit some rides while everyone is watching. I mean..this isn't Big Evel we're talking about here...it's his son. Evel rode big bulky Harley dirtbikes and he used to wing it...no practice. Evel didn't have engineers, meteorolgists, and physicists working on his jumps. I mean this guy knows what speed he has to maintain...wind direction...temperature. There is nothing death defying about his leap. It's a slam dunk jump on a light weight Japanese made bike.

I am not argueing anyone's study...but I recently was diagnosed with bi-polaar disorder at the ripe old age of 42 and was put on zoloft. I had the same issues in high school as I do now. I smoked tons of mj back then..and it helped me through some of the roughest years of my life. My doctor even told me...off the record...I should consider smoking it again if it helped me that much. But...with the neo-McCarthyism going on in the workplace...would not be a wise move.

So season pass holders have to pay extra for the jump? Never saw that advertised. -
Cedar Point 2008
FrankNfreak replied to indianapolisman's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Never been to CP..never had the desire. My loyalties have always been with KI. Since CF owns both...I suppose it's retarded to think that way now. -
There could come a day....once you leave the park..there will be no re-entry
-
Isn't the reason season pass prices are so low..is that CF expects to make money off of you once you enter the park? If thats so..and youleave to eat..eventually will they do away with season passes?
