That video didn't have the interview with him afterwards. "We went down the first hill, anda bird hit me right inda face!"

Zero hour is just 15 short hours away. It's 6:55am as I type this. On my day off at that. I should be sleeping. I've enjoyed how Don and company have literally thrown us for a loop during this whole thread, pun intended. Hats off to you, Don! I had thoughts initially about this coaster possibly being a dive machine. Now that the blueprints and the track that I saw out at Clermont point to a B&M Invert, I will be happy with the decision given my experience on Dueling Dragons down in Florida several years back. But the "fake" web page I saw has me intrigued still. What if, and a big what if, it somehow ends up being an Intamin? Was just thinking about this last night. This thread has been fun trying to speculate our new attraction. We'll find out here in just a few short hours!

A big ball will come down, and the glare off of Don's head from the lights will cause blindness to those in attendance. I know this isn't the case but it's the first random thing that popped into my head...

For those going to the KIC Bash on September 8th, we all need to shake Don's hand, for he's done a valiant job throwing everyone off. You sir, are a scholar and a gentleman...

Must....vacuum....apartment....but I cannot get away from this site!
-
Even the cake! See if anyone gets this one...

Don has the grin of a cheshire cat on his face right now. I guarantee it!

EDIT: please delete the post. I got click happy.

Not to mention all of the people saying that people died on the original 30 years ago... My mom argues me up and down that people died and I just shake my head...

Thursday can't get here fast enough...

"Enthusiast of the Blackberry. He blows his nose at iPhones" Seriously, at the KIC/GOCC event several years back him and Avatar had a debate similar to the Billy Madison bathtub scene about iPhone and Blackberry being better.

When did you join KICentral?

May of 2008...I was here for the Diamondback announcement and I've enjoyed it ever since! -
Wanted to add this...it's been a good 4 years since I've last been on a B&M invert (Dueling Dragons). That one in particular was thrilling for me but judging by what I saw in the blueprint it appears to be just as thrilling as that plus more! Can't wait for 2014...bring it on!

My concern is with the signal throughout the park. If it's busy it may be difficult to get in a good signal.

You're welcome bud. Tried to get it the best I could from the road (trespassing is a no no) and the camera on my phone (Galaxy Note 2) isn't the best. Would have been easier with a DSLR. Would have made it easier for everyone as I could barely make the piece out in person as well...
-
I believe it may be transfer track. What do you all think?

Transfer track?

Just drove past CSF. The pieces mentioned the other day are still there on the flatbed. 4 empty flatbed trailers out front and we have BLUE TRACK on a flatbed also. Pic to follow shortly...
-
Gonna swing past CSF on my way out to Brown County. See if there's anything new out. I will report back here shortly.

Meet up thread here: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27900-aug-8-announcement-meet-up/

The date and time were sent, along with "Save the Date", to anyone who subscribed to "KI Club" updates. That's a pretty safe assumption. Just checking because of the events as of late...don't want anyone to be there that's not supposed to be!
-
I assume that this announcement will be open to the public but haven't heard any confirmation? Don? You know what they say about people who assume...
-
You all are quick...I just got it and high tailed it to the computer.

So why would they be pouring footers in a different area? Yes to quote you and YoungStud hit the nail on the head. There's a big building not currently being used, big enough to store track, supports, and what have you. Just popped into my mind earlier while reading this here forum...
