^ I went out today after I got off work at 2. Started off with The Beast, and got an emergency call that my grandfather is being moved to Hospice, so I ended up only getting one ride in and that was on The Beast. Going to try again on Wednesday with some buddies from work, if everything is fine.

I haven't been to The Beach in about 5 years or so and I have never been to Boomerang Bay, even though I have a Gold Pass.
The Beach was a lot of fun when I went before, especially the wave pool. It's definately worth checking out.

Thanks for sharing your PTR with us Sean!
I haven't been out to Kings Island since last Sunday June 7, and that box full of cell phones wasn't there then. Way to go KI!
Also, it saddens me that five people were line jumping while the security guard was checking his watch. Something needs to be done.
And about that crane near Outer Hanks and Slingshot, it reminds me of a comment seen on here: "Bring in the cranes!"
Yo enjoy-o trip report-o.

I think I've only blacked out on one ride, now that I come to think of it. I rode Invertigo a few weeks back and I seriously do not remember going through the loop.
That being said, I think I did lose some brain matter because I'm crazy and stupid now more than I ever have been.
Andrew, telling the truth.

This is off topic, but I consider it to be a little thing that I noticed: On the Kings Island page on Facebook, they say Diamondback has nearly given 500,000 rides so far this season!

Angie will just love it if Chaos somehow comes to Kings Island!
Green is a good color for you Angie!
Andrew, shutting up now.

As I stated in my 6/7 TR, I finally got the chance to ride The Crypt with the new program.
The last time I rode The Crypt before this visit was last June. It was thrilling and had many fun inversions.
The new ride, not so much. Swinging back and forth in an upright position and two inversions. Lame-O!

So you passed a 3 car pile-up on I-75 and a frietruck taking up two lanes?
May I ask what restaurant these fries were going to?
Andrew, just funnin' ya.

When going up the lift hills on Diamondback and Son of Beast, look towards the tennis center on the other side of I-71 and you'll see 700 WLW's diamond-shaped antenna.

I solved it, too. I threw the darn thing away. Problem solved!
Trepy....oops Terpy strikes again!
Andrew, running for his mommy.

The only thing that I remember missing most about Paramount, and it's already been stated here a few times: The Top Gun music at closing time.
-
Thanks for sharing, glad you had a fun time. I'm already starting to have Diamondback withdrawals and I was just there Sunday!

Level 5 for me.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Sounds like you had a fun time!

Dick Kinzel: "Thank you for listening to my presentation, now give me all of your nickels!"

If you watched the video- look at the graphic Channel 5 used for their #5 pick and the full-screen graphic, they used a picture of Son of Beast with the loop.
They need to update their picture, and yes MarketingExpress- Channel 5 is digging up a story like they usually do.

Nice TR....thanks for sharing Angie!
I've never been to Cedar Point and I'll definately have to check it out soon- I want to so bad!

After yesterday, I have ridden Diamondback 10 times so far. The majority of those times were row 8 on back, one in row 5, and one in row 1. Row 1 gets my vote as the best seat on the ride. It seemed much faster, much smoother, and seemed to have a ton of more airtime than any other seat I've experienced on that ride thus far.

1. The Beast at night, even better during Haunt when I rode it at midnight with fog and owls howling.
2. Diamondback's first drop- nothing else like it in the park.
3. The massive double helix on The Beast.

^ I don't think Dave is blue and has horns.
Andrew, running for the door.
-
Nope. Never has happened to me.

Sorry to hear about your experience today man. I can't believe that security caused trouble for you instead of helping you. This issue is getting out of hand.

Row 1 delivered the best ride that I've had so far on Diamondback. It seemed much faster, much smoother, and seemed to deliver more airtime.
Before this, Row 5 was the furthest up in the front that I have sat.

Thanks Diamondback FOF and Indianapolisman for the well wishes. He's been in the hospital off and on for the last couple months now. He is currently taking dialysis three or four days a week, and the doctor says even with dialysis that he could be gone in two or three months. Right now I am hoping for the best and praying for him every night before I go to bed.
