I too have recently had an issue with Holiday World. I used to consider it my favorite park, but after receiving an e-mail response from a certain HW employee, I am starting to wonder if they want my money. I was planning a trip up there in two weeks, but now it's looking like a CP trip.

Were you on the 11th train? Because I was in the station when that was about to leave and it went up and down 3 times before it left. I think we were around the 11th train or so. We didn't count. But yeah, we went up and down a couple times. The ride op even called it "Rocking Chair: The Ride"

Oh, I see what your saying. I'm glad an employee representing the park finnaly came forth with some info like this. So are you saying the accident could have been prevented on Son of Beast had the crew hit the E-stop properly? Thanks for sharing some inside info cory! Please keep us posted! BTW, I saw you working at IJ this weekend! Should've said hello but the line was a bit long. No, hes not saying that would've prevented the accident. Cory is an employee of the park, but he is not a part of the Son of Beast crew, nor did he work at the park at the time of the accident, nor does he know how to operate Son of Beast or how all the e-stops work for all the coasters in the park. He works at Italian Job.

And I, for one, can't wait to see how CF expands the park since Paramount found it "necessary" to remove the vintage cars to put in IJ . I'm guessing that they will be overjoyed with the possibilities since CP takes up about 100% of the land it owns. It was necessary to remove that ride. Get over it people, old rides need to go eventually. As much as I would hate to see rides go, there comes a time when they need to go. Also, its 1/2 the land, not 1/3 And the other half is all hills, good luck expanding back there. Trust me, there are reasons the park hasn't expanded out there yet, and it's because of how difficult expansion out there would be.

Light rain, nothing closes Lightning, all major attractions (minus Tomb Raider and Flight of Fear) Major storm: everything Of course, the rides wont be closed all day. Stormy days are usually good days to come, it scares most people away, and when it isn't storming that day, the park is empty.

Actually, its rising. The footings of the track are due to come out of the ground within the next 1-2 years and start flying away.
