This offseason, 16 players will begin yet another adventure, as PKICentral brings back PKIC Survivor for it's second season hosted by UncleHenry. The first season had it's twists and turns, and this season is sure to be just as surprising! The new location for this second season is a series of islands that is deeply rooted in tradition. The native people of this region are well known for building massive structures located on the largest of the islands, known as Cepoi. Visitors to this region have come to call this island "The Point" due to it's elongated shape. 16 players, 2 tribes, 1 Survivor! PKIC Survivor: Cedar Islands will premier this offseason...

16 players would be allowed into the game, split up into 2 competing tribes, and we have 17 "yes" votes in this poll, so if it goes through, we should have enough players.

As a friendly reminder, EPKI's Survivor took place AFTER PKIC Survivor. We all know who had the original PKI Survivor season!

Some time back, PKIC had "PKIC Survivor", an online version of the popular CBS show Survivor. The players competed in games testing creativity, knowledge, and other Kings Island related material. The first season was quite popular, and many asked for it to return. Once the park closes for the season, I will once again have some free time, and the possibility of a new season can happen. This idea has been pitched to some of the top PKIC people, but I would like to see what the PKIC community feels about this idea. This new season is still in VERY basic planning stages, so not much has been figured out yet. What we can tell you is that this game would test your knowledge of Kings Island, your creativity in several different areas, your skills with dealing with other players, and most of all, your ability to outlast the other 16 competitors. A top secret "location" has been prepared for our new players, and this new location will bring in new elements to this season. Of course, this season is not yet confirmed, so cast your vote and tell the PKIC staffers if you'd like to see PKIC Survivor make it's return to the internet!

Actually, El Toro uses composite track, so technically, it's not really a wood coaster, so Voyage still does have the steepest wooden track. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3183.htm?picture=49 Here you can see that the track clearly is not wood.

My major deals alot with web design. Who knows, maybe some day I will be designing the website for Kings Island. I know Cedar Fair has completly different websites for each park. MI's website is pretty bad, while CP's is incredible.

Yeah, I'd say its a mix between Storm Runner and IJST.

Does anyone else agree that it seems CP took some tips from IJST for this ride? I mean, look at the comparison... 1) Ride focused on theming rather than speed and height 2) 12 person trains 3) Launch in the middle of the ride It looks like CF knew that IJST had potential, and fixed some of the issues that IJ has had (IE, more trains to make up for shorter trains, less maintenance needed for theming, faster launch mid-ride).

Glad you had fun Avatar. It was nice meeting you, even if it was for just a second or two (I needed to get back to Beast). I know the PKIC crew, and they truely are a dedicated staff. I am a staff member on a separate coaster site (www.coaster-net.com), but the staff doesn't seem to have the same passion that PKIC has.

Well, from what I've heard from other sources, he was right on some things, but wrong on others. Still, we will find out what exactly he got right and wrong on the announcement day.

Weird, 9 days would make the announcement on the 7th. Funny, an employee at CP told me that would be the announcement day for Maverick. Funny, he also told me some other things, including some aspects of the ride. But whoops, I have to keep my mouth shut about the ride.

Again, thanks for the votes guys. Jones says they add new "critics choice" titles every few weeks, so it may be awhile before I know if it's named a "critics choice" (which are pretty much going to be put on the labels).
