  1. Well, yesterday was anything but uneventful, that much is true. I had a great time hanging out with you guys though, hopefully you guys can make it out to KI again before too long. Danielle, I really hope you get better. Personally I have zero desire to walk during my graduation (And probably won't even be attending) but if I did want to walk, i'd be extremely upset if something was to prevent me from doing it.
  2. Holy cow... I agree! I'd probably need an hour of down time after that, but it'd be amazing.
  3. My vote goes for Delirium, with Drop Tower coming in as a very close second.
  4. With the assigned seating, if you ask politely, you will more than likely be able to sit wherever you choose. I hit my 78th ride on Diamondback yesterday at the park and I have yet to be denied row 16, with the exception of four rides in the SRL.
  5. I'm not surprised to hear you say that! Personally, I tend to like hair, though mine is much shorter as of late, but still as long as I could leave it. As for 10,000 - just wow! I'll work on it. I'm up to 86 for the season on Beast so far. Haha, I actually used to have really long hair. Like down to the middle of my back. Taking care of it became too much of a hassle so I just chopped/shaved it all off. Now I just have to spend about 15 minutes once every two days re-shaving it (Provided I don't get sunburnt, at which point I just let it grow until the burn heals). Anyway, back on topic, I can't see myself power lapping any single ride at any park. Regardless of how great the ride is, for me riding it that often would just kill the whole experience.
  6. It wasn't too bad there considering all the special events going on today.
  7. Busy or not i'm about to head out there >.< I've really got nothing to do around here, so i'm better off wasting time in a massive line for Dback than I am wasting time for nothing here. I'm also going tomorrow and Monday, hopefully the crowds won't be quite as bad
  8. Without, of course Hair is overrated.
  9. Nice find. I wish I had been around to experience KI back then.
  10. Just turned 18 on April 11th.
  11. I'm not bashing on you because you are young...but I think many people would be surprised on the amount of people that travel to places that have retro arcades. I know I have been using CP as an example, but it is a great example. I know people that go there just for their arcade. Just like how there are coaster enthusiasts, there are classic arcade enthusiasts. I would def go to a place because they have a Galaga, or whatever machine...I know it sounds crazy, but there are many others like me that would. Oh I know, believe me. I have quite a few friends (And a relative or two, for that matter) who travel to classic arcades. And the addition of some of these games to Kings Island would most likely make the park a bit of money, but I still think the park could spend their money on something that would appeal to a larger group of people, thus increasing profits.
  12. I'm not saying that the arcades don't make money, I know they made a good $5 from me a few weeks ago out of boredom when everyone else stopped in to play DDR >.< I'm simply saying that not many people are going to say "Well, Kings Island has Galaga, so maybe it's worth visiting...". On the other hand, if the money went toward the installation of (for example) a new ride, it would more than likely bring more business to the park.
  13. You must look at it from Cedar Fair's perspective though. Would the addition of these games bring in enough profit (If any at all) to make the endeavor worthwhile? Most people (Excluding some of the hardcore enthusiasts here) only get a few visits to Kings Island a year, and would much rather spend their time riding on the rides rather than playing in the arcades.
  14. agreed. and in response to Justin...I'm not talking playing madden football on your xbox. I'm talking classic arcade machines. You can not find these anywhere anymore and the arcades that do have them collect on par and even more so than moddern games. I know what you're talking about, I just prefer to ride the rides when I go to parks. And honestly if you know where to look you can find pretty much any game you can think of.
  15. Personally if I had wanted to play video games I would've saved myself the cost of gas and stayed home, but that's just me.
  16. Yes, DDR and Guitar Hero are both in the arcade in Coney Mall. Although the Guitar Hero machine is horribly out of sync so I wouldn't suggest playing it. I have videos of a bunch of KIC'ers playing around in there Lol.
  17. Well said. Couldn't agree more.
  18. Lol, I figured as much. Just messin' with ya But still, the best coaster to grace (P)KI would have to be The Beast.
  19. Technically Diamondback was never at PKI, and I highly doubt it ever will be. But my vote goes for The Beast. Hands down.
  20. I am very impressed that a 15 year old actually knows how to spell Lynyrd Skynyrd's name correctly! Way to go! Yeah, it's kinda funny (And sad) how the majority of the newer generation (Even those who claim to be fans) can't spell the name correctly, lol.
  21. Just a tip for you...Don't let Keiko_Coaster know that you think Scooby Doo should removed...Cause she'll scratch your eyes right out. SCOOBY DOO IS THE BEST RIDE IN THE PARK!!!! Justin rode it with me one day, My score: 1800, his score: 500..... I LOVE SCOOBY DOO! Its a must ride at least 5 times every day i go to the park SOOOOOO its on my top ride list! I got 960 and you got 1830. Lol. Either way you owned me
  22. Cool TR, Kat Makes me want to head out to KD now >.<

    Why not?

It's not THAT bad. You won't walk away with broken bones or bruises. Aside from someone with a back or neck problem (who probably shouldn't ride coasters any), anyone who complains about it being too painful is being a wimp. I'll admit it's not a comfortable ride, but it's well worth it and definitely not the worst coaster on earth. Its not even the worst coaster in the park. Try the front seat of a car toward the middle of the train - that seems to be the smoothest spot. I'm going to have to agree with TB on this one. My friend and I rode SoB for the first (And last) time of the season on Sunday and it was even worse than I remember it being. And my problem isn't even with how painful it is, but rather the fact that if you want it to not be painful, you have to ride in a certain seat.

    Why not?

Nah, I hate walking around in wet clothes and it's too much of a hassle to bring a change of clothes for before and after the ride.

    Why not?

You've never been on WWC? Nope. When my group decided to head over to one of those rides I usually end up playing temporary pack mule for everyone's stuff.
