Your logic is flawed Barnyard. You shouldn't have to know how to ride it. You should be able to sit down in any seat, pull down the restraint, and not have to worry about your body. Like you have mentioned, you can't do that on SOB... As for the original topic, Beast has my respect. It still chugs along but it's by no means my favorite coaster out there. However, it's still The Beast and continues to please the masses. And because of that, it kicks butt. Since everyone and their brother is putting up their woody list, here's mine... 1. Raven @ Holiday World 2. Legend @ Holiday World 3. Phoenix @ Knoebels 4. Screechin Eagle @ Americana 5. ThunderHead @ Dollywood Yeah thats true but in order to have a somewhat decent ride, you gotta know how to ride it. I know thats not how it should be, but the unfortunate truth is thats how it is. Espically on a ride like SOB.

Ok, first of all Son of Beast holds more than 3 records, it holds 7! Second of all you have to know how to ride a wood coaster. Most people tense up when it gets rough, if you loosen up at the rough parts, believe it or not it wont be as bad. Finally, the smoothest seat on the ride is 6-2. Thank you. LONG LIVE SOB!

In my opinion, Raging Wolf Bobs at Guaja Lake (or however u spell it) is the roughest coaster Ive ever been on. It was horrible and I was hurtin throughout the entire ride. Riding Son of Beast is cake compared to that. And on the whole Delirium copy at Cedar Point, I think its a cheap shot. Thats all Im gonna say about that.

Heres something interesting. Express is supposed to take people to Outpost 5 right? Well if you look on the side of SOB station, it has a haz logo and it says Outpost 5 right under it. Just an interesting tid bit.

Just because the themeing is lacked a tad doesnt mean it doesnt resemble the Top Gun movie theme. Have you ever walked through the line? There are movie pics all over, Fightertown USA signs cover the fence, HUGE billboards with jets flying on them and if you listen the Top Gun soundtrack plays over the speakers. Other than the themeing thats under the station (which doesnt get used because of capacity), I see nothing wrong with the Top Gun themeing. I will fight to the death over that ride.

Top Gun not a favorite? HA, most of the time Top Gun has a longer line than SOB. They are not letting it rot, the thing is well maintained, it has virtually no downtime, it runs like a beast. Its one of my favorite rides to ride and I think the majority of the people would agree with me. Top Gun is NOT and I repeat, IS NOT going anywhere, its not even a prime candidate. So thats that.

Its called humor man, and Top Gun will not be taken out for a long time. Its not even a possibility, so dont even think it. Top Gun is here to stay!
