LOL, sorry about the wrong date. I was almost asleep when I typed that....I dont know why I can't think of the name of the maze I went through....Its was the one the one to the right of IJST...after you walk past the Eifel Tower, its to the right...

Wow, just got home from my first FearFest ever. After years of missing it, I got to experience it. What a blast. The cold was awesome, the lights were awesome, the fog was awesome. Only got through one haunted attraction, but it was enough. Just a really fun atmosphere. Even waiting for IJST for an hour and a half and 45 minutes for a cup of coffee at Starbucks was fun. Can't wait to go back again....
  3. Int'l Street, definitely. And, the Italian Job, that ride exceeded all of my expectations.
  4. Thats exactly what PKI needs. Theming is great, but it is like icing on a cake...you also have to have some substance.

    Wings

I think if PKI's food choices were as good as the rides in the park, it would be a much better place.
  6. Thanks for the info. I'll watch PKI's site this spring. I'm really excited. I haven't went all this summer, as I kept putting it off all the time. Now I have no excuse and can just head down whenever I have the time. I live about 90 minutes away, so I think I'll be able to get there a couple times this fall and lots next summer. Thanks again.
  7. I purchased my first-ever Gold pass thats good for the rest of this year and next year. Can anybody tell me what extras you usually get with a Gold Pass? I couldn't find anything on PKI.com. Thanks.
  8. Have you missed that coaster over in Coney mall called The Vortex? Thats big and steel. I don't think that in this day and age of roller coasters it is completely accurate to describe Vortex as "big". When it was built nearly 20 years ago, it was, but not now.
  9. I agree. PKI needs something big that is steel.
  10. That is a good idea. I think PKI could benefit from a nice store with more variety than whats already offered, and a nice, sit down restaurant where you could get waited on. I told them this on the last survey I took.
  11. I think this will be a nice place for the more "mature" PKI guest to relax, and maybe wait while some of their younger family members are riding coasters.
  12. Huh? Thats only been there for what, maybe 8 years? I know I'm old, but I agree that I don't see how anybody could like that Nickelodeon crap over Hanna-Barbera characters. Maybe Paramount will get smart...who knows...
  13. Cartoon friends and funny faces Jinx and those little meece he chases Ant Hill Mob, the Wacky Racers Live in my TV I'm friends with Fred who yells out Yabba Dabba Dabba Doo Bosom Buddy Barney too. And Scooby Dooby where are you. I love that mumblin' bear I laugh at him until I hurt And when it's, Bananna Splits You don't eat them for dessert Bistle Hound is not a stranger. He saves Lambsy when in danger. Yogi Bear outsmarts the ranger All in my TV Those happy friends who live in my TV.
  14. Don't forget that those guests also allow you to be able to get on here and talk about them...
  15. Paramount is a business, and they need people to come in to keep their doors open. I would say that this attraction is what they found that would bring in the right amount of people to justify the cost of building it, and would help them earn their sales projections.

    New area idea!

I think they need to do Retroland. An area of the park that would recreate the old KI. Canoe rides, etc... (anyone can hope)...

    Traditions

    1) This may be my favorite part of the park. I love just before you go through the gates, and its a sunny day, of course. I love the view, I love to hear the music playing and seeing everybody heading in, and hearing the fountains. Might be my favorite part of the day. 2) Of course, dodging the picture takers, unless I'm there on a date. 3) Eiffel Tower, Flower Clock, LaRosa's in RT, Vortex, Adventure Express, TG, and then whatever rides I can cram in.
  18. I think a sign would be good. What you go through on SOB is nothing like on any of the other coasters in the park. I'm in reasonably good shape, and I feel like I've been in a car accident when I get off of SOB. Someone with some back trouble or something might get injured on SOB, whereas they wouldn't on anything else in the park. I don't think you can really compare The Beast to it, either. SOB is much rougher.
  19. weak attempt at trying to be like Oceans 11
  20. You know, I haven't been all that excited about IJST, and I've actually almost got tired of reading about it on here, but this is really shaping up to be an amazing looking ride. I am very impressed with the elaborate theming, plus if nothing else, its another coaster to ride at PKI.
  21. You know, sometimes I forget face/off is even there. No one ever mentions it. No people that I know that talk about PKI, or on this site. When you think about it rationally, its a decent ride, but its like nobody really cares about it? Any ideas why this is? Or is it just me...
  22. I always have to eat in Rivertown. I dont' know, just something about where its at I like. I'm always drawn to the outer edges of the park, I guess. I like the water and the trees. Wish I could go back in time and go to KI when it was mostly water and trees. Maybe one day they will open Retrotown and have recreations of the old KI (yeah, right)...but it would be cool.
  23. I always wondered what the wait was for The Beast back when it opened. I always imagine that whole queue completely full... ...I waited for the Magnum at CP for over an hour in the rain, they then shut all the rides down and all we got to ride was the Corkscrew...I waited almost 2 hours for King Cobra one night right before PKI's closing time...
  24. I think its the perfect addition to PKI. Gotta have some coffee in the morning. I think PKI could definitely use a GOOD restaurant, like where you get waited on. Its hard to find any real good food, maybe impossible. I mean, you can get a decent hamburger or piece of pizza, but since most people are shelling out big bucks while they're there, it would be nice to at least be able to sit down and be waited on and enjoy the view.
