SCREAMING-----I know the rides might really be scary and really fun but please once the ride is over and coming back in the station,there is no need to scream over and over again.I can see doing it while hitting speeds of 60 plus at 200 plus feet.Just think of how your ears feel when someone else was doing that to you. Oh and on the subject of public affection if you have respect for your girl or guy why would you make them look like they were in a porn movie while waiting in line.Im sure you all love each other but im sure if you saw someone else in line carring on like that you would feel the same way as some of the other guest feel.Oh and think about the kids in line for once instead of trying to be a show off. Im just saying.

With the way they are removing signs and closing off the gate opening this leads to a long reconstuction time frame or a tear down option as was done some 34 years ago at the pike with the wild mouse that was sbno just like sob only to be opened a year later until the park shutdown in 1979. cyclone had the same fate years earlier and was tore down in the off season. With things being removed from the stores and the way signs have been removed,this could be pretty much it.Lets just hope ki lets some of the faithful followers get one more tour and pictures if this indeed is the end of sob.

The first rule is the safety of the riders.To keep them in the cars is a safer bet than risk someome falling. Next comes the ride safety factor.Will the trains be secure as we remove guests from the ride? Im sure the park looks at all factors from the repair team to the fire fighters and guest safety. Oh and please use the rest room before you ride for all of our sakes.

Hmm even the dead come back for fun at Kings Island.

Plan ahead.zipper pockets,fanny packs or even a chain like they have on them biker wallets would work.

Both parks offer great thrills.Kings Island wins hands down in my book on wooden coasters.On the other hand steel coasters at Cedar Point are tops.Hmm if only the two parks were close together.

If you get get number one to happen I will be very happy. I on the other hand would be creeped out since both Ricardo Montalban & Herve Villechaize are dead. hmm that would be funny but crazy way to be greeted at the haunt this year.

Savings are always a plus.

If sob is going to be down for another season or possibly forever what could Kings Island do to make buying season pass for 2010 more inviting? 10.drop the price 9.Leave sob up and running only if riders get their own insurance.(lol come on that is funny and you know it) 8.Bring back winterfest 7.have the bady bunch come back and plead for us to renew our passes 6.bulid a new coaster that will set a new record. 5.make sure #6 is up and running. 4.add more flat rides 3.add more perks 2.add more shows.Love them wild west themes 1.get mr rouke and tattoo to greet people as they enter the park(smiles every ones smile.)

you could always check ebay. I wonder why the items were pulled for?Legal issues or something i guess. Still not a good sign.

I geuss the key is to go during the week like on tuesday or wednesday.I would never go on the weekend unless i had to.

Thank you.The rewards of just feeling great again is enough for me but the bonus is riding whatever i want.I feel bad when i see people get turned away from a ride due to weight. My next goal by the way is to get under 200 lbs.

I do find that sob seem to give different rides at different times of Day.Day time seems ok but at night it seemed faster and rougher.

Got to the park about 5:30 pm with thunder storms in the area but we got none of it that night.Crowds were not to bad.Ttd was a 35 to 40 min wait and mil force was 45 min wait.All other rides was a 10 to 25 min wait. I got two rides on mf.One when i first got there and one at close.Like always mf was a great ride with some good airtime. Rode wildcat next.It's a fun ride that will let you rest before you go on the next big ride. Ttd was next.As you know all year i was working to take weight off and it paid off as i rode any ride i wanted.Ttd was great.Nothing like the front seat. Next up was mag xl.It was a pretty much a walk on.Great ride and happy birthday mag. Dis transport was the next ride.Walk on again so we got 2 rides in a row.Thank you guys. I ended the night with one last ride on mil force.This time the line was longer.I guess as long as your in line,they will let you ride once the park closes. tues 8/11 Off to a late start.My friend was sick.Before the day was up i would take a break and drop him at the hotel. Park was busy today.TTD was a 1 1/2 wait when it was running. It opened after 12 pm that day due to a brake problem. Wicked twister was a 40 min wait.Was fun but made me dizzy. Im not that old yet. Got a ride on mag xl 25 min wait. Took a boat ride with the kids.We had a comic as a capt.On the right are trees and to the left is nothing at all. Then the rain came with thunder. After about a hour delay i took two rides on thunder canyon and got soaked. Then topped it off with the boat that takes you over the falls.Great im now more wet. To end the night i got a last ride on Ttd.2hr wait great.Got a front seat for all my troubles.Great to be a single rider. Nothing like bugs at 120 mph.I hit em at the very top.Ouch my eye. But all was great. Next trip Halloween Haunt KI for two or three days.

Without starting a new topic i have a question. Can you tell your story of how your ride on the sob was and why you like or dislike the sob? My first ride was at the haunt last year.All season long i flirted with going for a ride and always chickened out.After coming out of club blood, i had time for one more ride and a haunt is about being scared so i thought why not.So if there is no lines i'll ride it..Dang it was a walk on.SO if i cant fit i wont ride..Dang i fit.Well if i change my mind(ALL CLEAR)Ohhhh heck here we go. After the ride, i lucked out and got one more ride in.I love that ride.After riding that i knew i could ride anything in the world.Thank you sonny for making a coaster warrior out of me.

It does add to the skyline and in the off season we can all just hope that they will give it another try.

That is neat. I remember seeing elvis back in long beach at the pike in the early 70's.I was just a kid then and did not know at the moment who he was until all the fuss broke out. Hope she will tell her kids when she gets older.And like always they will ask who is that?

Bad sign indeed.With dback being the new big kid on the block cf might very well be saying good bye to sonny. bad signs 1.removed and or covered signs 2.removed sob items from store. 3.appears to be no activity around or on sob. 4.the sob crew saying good bye to each other when the ride first closed. Regardless of the outcome Im sure Son of Beast will be remembered in coaster history as the tallest,fastest,meanest wooden coaster with a loop that gave fun rides to some and beat the heck out of others.Let us give a toast to sonny.

They already got new cars (w/ 24 per car instead of the original 36). How did the ride work in your dream, just wondering. That would be the neatest thing. It looked pretty cool but like always it had a sign that said closed for repair. I think the name of the ride was called Flight of the son.It was 300 feet tall and went from 0 to 100 in 3.5 seconds.

Theres one girl that works on The Beast that is pretty cool.She gives a play by play on how the fireworks look. At Cedar Point on the TTD,the girl goes ono and on about the yellow lap bar."please dont pull down on the yellow lap bar.seat belts are for you,lap bar is for me.dont look at it and dont eat it.Oh and please dont touch the lap bar.Now what did i say?"

I had a crazy dream that Sob was rebuilt and made as the first wooden power launched coaster in a style of top thrill dragster.Now that would be neat. I do hope that they keep sob and just make adjustments to fix it.Cant they just remove some of the cars to slow it down and help smooth it out?

Great.Ill be there monday and tuesday aug 10th and 11th if any members will be there.Just look for the LA dodger hat(no boos please).And i hope to get 2 or 3 days in at K.I haunt fest.Love them cold night time rides on The Beast.And now add DBack to the list of must ride night rides.
