Nick Universe Celebrates First Anniversary at MOA
I went to MOA back in 2001. Photos do not do justice to the mall, or the amusement park in the center. We rode the log flume, the ferris wheel, the Pepsi roller coaster, and this swinging hatchet ride that went upside down. We were there for 4 days and I took almost 100 photos inside the mall. We still didn't see all of it.

Krazy City VTR
The third video posted absolutely kills me. I was laughing so hard watching that. I don't know what happened with my bowling. I granny bowled a gutterball and then out of nowhere I started getting strikes.. I was like wtf? I will admit to causing one of the go kart wrecks (the first one, actually, LOL I was trying to go around this guy and ended up spinning him into the wall. I whacked my knee into the steering wheel so hard that there is now a nice bruise on it today.. that's what I get for driving like a maniac! ). Unfortunately Skyscraper was closed. Hopefully it won't be next time we go, but we still had a great time. And yes, it's play and ride all you want for $10, definitely a great deal. They give you a little card that you have to scan for every ride or game.

Close call or no need to worry
You mean.. people don't intentionally leave more space to increase their airtime experience? Not that I would ever do such a thing..

Hands Up or Down?
I am always forced to put my hands down heading into the first and last tunnels on The Beast. it always looks like my hands are ganna get chopped off. One of these days I will be able to keep them up in those tunnels... one of these days... I always want to automatically lower my hands at MF's tunnels.. I always think for a split second that the tips of my fingers are going to get sliced off.

Coming Soon! KICentral Monthly E-Mail Newsletter!
I second that.

Hands Up or Down?
I keep my head back against the headrest on ALL coasters with OTSRs throughout the ride. It eliminates the head banging issue. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to enjoy coasters like Raptor and Maverick.

Hands Up or Down?
Hands up on them all. Floorless, flying, inverted, launched, stand-up, suspended, wood, steel, you will see me hands up all the way. Heck I even ride hands-free on Slingshot, Drop Tower, and CP's Skyscraper. For me, there is no other way to ride.

What are your opening day plans?
Sorry for turning this into the birthday topic! I'm likely going solo on opening day. Anyone who wants to ride with me (anyone with a steel stomach of course), find me and we shall ride!

What are your opening day plans?
Haha, I agree!! After 25, birthdays are all down-hill from there! I thought I was the only one who noticed. After 21, the parties get smaller and smaller.. then eventually people are like "Oh ____, you're a year older! When did that happen?" It's hilarious. Even more hilarious is that I used my bonus check to go out and buy everything I wanted but didn't get, so I could care less who forgot, or decided that a celebration wasn't necessary.

What are your opening day plans?
Same here. I'll work my birthday, and all holidays of the year.. just please don't force me to work on a day when there is a coaster event!! No one cares about holidays or birthdays anymore, so who cares if I have to work them? Not I.

What are your opening day plans?
I couldn't have said it better myself. Lines schmines, mechanical problems schmechanical problems, I don't care. I will be riding Diamondback on opening day. However, if I witness anyone jumping in line in front of me and you are within a short distance of me, I suggest you plug your ears.

What are your opening day plans?
I try to ask for days off as far in advance as possible to increase my chances of getting it. There have only been two times in the last 6 years that I remember not getting the day off that I had requested. Unless she looks at the calendar and starts a sentence with "Well...." , it's a yes.

What are your opening day plans?
Yesterday I asked my boss, "Is it possible to request April 18 off?" She gave me a knowing look and said, "My daughters want to go too."

Parrots of The Caribbean
In the years I have been going to the park, I've always been a ride warrior, barely stopping for a bite to eat, or only ducking into a souvenir shop when there was bad weather or buying sunglasses because I broke (another) pair. My friend and I did stop to watch the Flashback! Totally 80s. I enjoyed it and I am happy that the show is returning this year. I regret not stopping to see more of what the park has to offer.. that will definitely change this year.

Parrots of The Caribbean
I saw the headline "I like mine with lettuce and tomato" and I was like what the h? A friend and I took advantage of the Backyard BBQ last year. Except for the swarms of bees around the soda machine, the food was great and nothing went empty. It's something I'll definitely take advantage of again.. all you can eat for that price is nothing to complain about these days.

Platinum Pass Upgrade
Platinum is definitely worth the price if you plan to visit CP and KI. I'm going on year 3 with my platinum because I love both parks. It's more than worth the extra money to get the park benefits from both CP and KI. I visited CP 7 times last year and KI 13 times.. my platinum had cost $150.. I added up how much tickets and parking would have been otherwise, and I was shocked at how much money I'd saved.

Diamondback Construction Thread (Updated 3-19-09)
*note to self cancel trip to Kings Island this summer I've ridden Maverick while there was lightning and black clouds approaching, ridden countless rides and coasters after it was announced that they were having mechanical problems and reopened, ridden Drop Tower as it was getting ready to storm, and ridden Skyscraper only to be told by my friend running the ride after I got off that they had broken the control panel while I was on the ride. If you never take chances, you're never going to experience life.

How long do you spend on kicentral
I usually jump on here early in the morning before work, and after work to read the new posts. The time I spend on here varies anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. One morning, I logged on here and was reading a topic when I realized I had to leave for work. I left without touching my computer. I came back 9 hours later to find it still on the same screen.

diamondback waittime prediction
I thought I was the only one who thought it kind of stinks going with someone who doesn't have a pass, because then neither one of you get the benefits.
