    I doubt that the cost of removal of SoB would be higher than the payout when someone was injured or even killed by the ride and sued.

    Ya seen Flight of Fear's track, or some of BLSC's track? Some of those are worse than Flight Deck, by far! I would burn SoB (I said it!) and Thunder Alley and put a Maurer Sohne spinner in Thunder Alley's spot. Get a nice GCI for SoB's old spot, and put some TREES! in where the water tower is now.

    No. Possibly, it could leave part of the ride unstable. Why not just do it at once?

    That would not be confusion, that would be the park trying to avoid people knowing the REAL reason that it was closed.

    When they do make a decision (which I think they already have), they'll stick with it. If they leave it SBNO, they're NOT going to try to reopen it in two years. So that's really not an issue. Keeping it from collapsing, yes, but not keeping it able to operate.

    I have no doubt that Scooby will last as long as the licensing does. CF is not a theme park operator, and I just can't see them installing a new themed dark ride.
