I'd love to see some sort of theming on FH, even if it were just a simple Pantel TV blaring a video about how you're testing a new aircraft for the government. At least some of the music videos! FH is such a boring, hot wait. I love the ride, but it's just not worth it...

I don't doubt that Cedar Fair will heartlessly rip out SDatHC and leave us with a gift shop in its space. I just can't see CF installing a dark ride.

I found it especially funny how ESOI had references to past characters- "Beaglemania" (Snoopy), "Cedar High School" prop (you could see where Cedar was removed), and the pic-a-nic basket...

SDatHC is not located in NU. It is located on International Street. The park map reflects this.

I really liked ESOI. I really hope it's replaced by something good. A certain show featuring a certain dog at Cedar Point seemed really good, but the use of High School Musical songs made throw up in my mouth a little bit...

Landscaping? Have you seen Firehawk or Dominator? I wouldn't expect a scrap of landscaping...

I would bet that, if CF decides to change NU, they'll remove SDatHC. I would love to see something good in its place if it did have to go, though! While SDatHC is, well, cheesy, it's a whole lot better than nothing. It's leagues better than SD at CW.

CF is obsessed with records- I have a shirt that calls Mamba the tallest and fastest coaster in the midwest, but they consider CP and KI to be in the midwest as well. (which I do not, but that's another story)

Besides the former Paramount Parks, CF tended to only reuse names if the ride wasn't the park's premier attraction- there's multiple Power Towers, but not multiple Top Thrill Dragsters or Diamondbacks. It appears that they aren't going that now...

Backlot is an intense little bugger, along with Invertigo and Firehawk...

I use a carabiner clip attatched to my belt loop for my cell phone case. It's worked so far!

I would cover the brake run AND lift hill. Staring into the sun on the lift is not fun at all. I like the idea of a SRL- I wonder if the direct-to-station queue was originally planned to be one? It's clearly too short for the lines that FH produces.

The only way I would ever go to HH is with a friend from school... which I hope happens, LOL. Do all the rides stay open for Haunt? (when Darien Lake was my home park, barely anything was open during their halloween event)

And yes, I have seen someone smoke in line for Flight of Fear. I was amazed that it didn't trigger an "unplanned fire drill".

From looking at the Simex Iwerks site, I'd like to see Smash Factory, some iteration of Dino Island, or Pokemon 3D in there. I would bet SB3D is through a agreement with Simex Iwerks and not Viacom.

That wasn't directed at your post, it was directed at the platinum passes not being discounted. I wonder if you could get the cheap gold pass then upgrade it later...
