  1. Why haven't you started a topic to try and find her?
  2. When you work open to close do you say OC? If you close one night and open the next morning do you say you clopen? We used those at BGW and am wondering if we have the same terminology. I'd love to know if the radio codes are the same. Yes, on CP's and KI's. Still more comfortable than BLSC cars!
  3. I don't speak Spanish. No hablo espanol?I think you meant "¿No hablas español?" You incorrectly conjugated the verb hablar in the yo form, making "I don't speak Spanish."So yea. There's your Spanish lesson of the day.
  4. I thought a lot of the pricing was very reasonable, if not undervalued. We had plenty of options when some friends and I were looking for a place to stay during our senior trip. Very cheap and beautiful log cabins. I loved Dollywood. It felt as if my grandma designed her own amusement park. It made me feel at home.
  5. I try to like you for the Workaholics display picture, but your posts are unbearable to read.
  6. The $300 Million includes the resort, right? I don't see a lot of in park additions after this ride; at least not new ones. Building that resort is going to be expensive. ..and just what Pigeon Forge needs, another resort!
  7. Any bug, not being good enough and now upstop's stories have me freaked out laying in my bed. EDIT: Thought of some more: Dying slowly and painfully, being tortured and I have a huge, irrational fear of aliens. I watched Signs and Independence Day at too young of an age and never recovered.
  8. Which parks use the system directly linked to your card and do not need "charged"? Which parks use the system directly linked to your card and do not need "charged"? SeaWorld Entertainment parks, for one, can use it either way. You can load cash onto the wristbands and use them like a gift card, or you can link the wristband to your credit card and charge purchases to it to your heart's content. Sea World works just like Disney and does not access your card account for every purchase: http://seaworldparks.com/buschgardens-williamsburg/Park-Info/Know-Before-You-Go?m=1 I didn't know what post to respond to, so I quoted all of them. As far as I know, BGW started something different from "Discovery Dollars" two years ago. They introduced what they call the "Cashless Wristband." It is directly linked up with your credit/debit card, and no limit is set unless you specifically ask for a limit. I guess the only difference is that the Cashless Wristband could not be pre loaded with cash beforehand. It is strictly linked up to the guests' credit card. Discovery Dollars was pre loaded.
  9. ..Not that you would want to ride that anyway. Since tomorrow is Wednesday, expect there to be no lines at all. (Unless there is a concert or some special event I am not aware of) My favorite food is anything from Trappers Smokehouse in New France. Festhaus food is good, too. If it is still being preformed, make sure to watch Celtic Fyre. Maybe watch it twice. It's that good.
  10. I know when GravityKraft first released info about their Timberliners that they had capabilities to be launched.
  11. No, I came back for college last Saturday.
  12. A lot of Cedar Point's eployees are new. Most of the kids they had over the summer have left to go back to college. There are a lot more internationals and locals that have taken their place.
  13. He could have been hinting at something else, I was just speculating. Mr. Clark has spent a lot of his life working in the media. He was a reporter for a Milwaukee news station for a long time. I think he knows what he is doing.
  14. I believe it may be announced on Friday the 13th. Tony hinted at it today during the tweet up.
  15. Dan used to post over on Coasterbuzz. I do not see why people want him back. From his posts he seemed like a tool, and Putz asked him to stop posting, Other than bringing Pat back, I don't see much good coming from Dan. (I will admit, I have not followed HW for very long, so I'm not completely in the know)
  16. Rest in peace, Bob Ross. I loved that guy.
  17. That's a fair assessment, although I will suggest that you may have hit it on a bad day when it comes to the theming. Not that I'm assuming that it would do much for you; I'm just saying is all. At least as of last August, several pieces and lighting fixtures were working, although I don't know how much theming the ride originally opened with to compare. As much as I like it when parks bother to add a preshow to rides, I'm inclined to believe that all the effects working would still do nothing to convey an actual story for the ride. And oy, does that building ever stick out at Great Adventure. Out of curiosity, have you been on the one at Great America? It seemed like a wilder ride to me, though the theming wasn't doing quite as well as it was in my experience at GAdv. I also didn't notice the building as much, though I loathe its placement in the New Orleans-themed section of the park. I have not been to Great America. There was no theming inside of the building during the ride. It was all preshow.
