  1. I, along with four other posters, thought his comment was funny. It was not directed to any one single person, and, again, is his opinion. I don't see why you guys like to jump all over him.
  2. So, it is confirmed that this is a Hooters restaurant?
  3. Walking 5+ miles a day sounds like a vacation to me. If you think sweeps walk a lot, try being a sweeps supervisor.

  5. It was hot, but after working in it all summer, it didn't seem out of the ordinary. I'll put a trip report up eventually. I will say I rode El Toro ten times without getting off and my thighs are bruised (I look at that as a good thing). I loved it.
  6. Tony Clark tweeted this week that they are looking into fixing the problem.
  7. Any flat rides that spin (WindSeeker is ok). I try to avoid Vortex.
  8. ^And being constantly ignored and turned down. It has to be a depressing job.
  9. A Sunday? There are no college football games on Sundays, so count me in.
  10. While budget cuts are happening in every department, EITA closed so the park could begin construction on a new haunt attraction.
  11. The ride ops stapled you in as much as they could at America. It was awful. Thanks everyone for NYC tips. I usually don't take spontaneous trips like that, but I finished America by two in the afternoon. It was awesome. I'm sitting in a Mcdonalds' parking lot waiting for SFGAdv to open. I'm running on two hours of sleep. Wish me luck.
  12. Maybe they just had a bad day when YoungStud was there because the crew was distracted by Stud's pythons.
  13. Busch no longer offers employees free tickets to Six Flags, so I will be buying my pass tomorrow morning at Six Flags America.
  14. How is SF America? It doesn't look that great, and reviews are awful.
  15. I think I was still asleep, or planning (asking for help) the Six Flags trip.
  16. Thanks for the advice, YoungStud. Is the Superman flyer comparable to Manta at SeaWorld Orlando? Manta is the only flyer I have been on (don't count Firehawk). I asked around at work today and nobody knew if Busch Gardens' employees still get in free, so I emailed our manager and should know by tomorrow. If not the season pass will work out. Thanks for the truck stop location.
  17. "Hey where is applejuice?" "Uh, you mean Alpengiest?"
  18. OK so thanks to gad198, I am going to go to Six Flags America on Sunday. I'll probably sleep in my car, so is there a way I can find a truck stop I can shower at? Also, is the gold pass the same price in park, as it is online?
  19. Terp, I'll check when I go to work in an hour. Thanks for the heads up. I totally forgot about parking. Malem, I will do that at Guest Relations. Thanks.
  20. I have Sunday and Monday off of work this weekend so I'm going to make the trip up to Great Adventure. They don't have two day tickets, so I am only going on that Monday. Their online price is 39.99, but I do not have a printer with me. Is there a way to get that price without printing them off? I have never been to a Six Flags park, so all help is appreciated. Of course I'm most looking forward to riding El Toro as much as I possibly can. Other than that, what should I do? Is the safari included with admission? Please remember that I am a broke college kid, so don't tell me to buy a flash pass or anything like that.
  21. I wonder if they could fill up the stands if he played a concert there? I doubt it at this point, thought it would be kind of cool to have acts like this, past their prime playing shows at the theater behind Eiffel Tower, where you could seel limited tickets for the stands, but the music would funnel out to the general park population. Steve Miller Band will always be in their prime. Would it fill Timberwolf? Without a doubt. I would probably drive home from Williamsburg just to see it. Promoters these days don't see Timberwolf as a viable option--outdated facility, limited capacity, set in an amusement park, etc. smaller shows that play Cincy are more apt to go to PNC Pavillion, Taft, US Bank or even the new Horseshoe before Timberwolf. It works for something like Spirit Song, which is geared toward kids who would like to be at Ki anyway, but not for much else. It's never stopped Busch Gardens. The Styx show sold out in a day. The park was packed that day. KC and the Sunshine Band are coming next month. I believe it is also sold out. These old bands will always bring in people.
  22. How much could a three letter domain name cost?
