  1. yeah, sure you weren't. I was replying to you. I never quoted you, though. Please don't take this the wrong way Terp, but I think you might be stretching just a bit. Sure photos add to the bandwith and increase the costs but:What about the "Guess the Coaster" thread: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/20303-guess-the-coaster/page-93?hl=+random%20+photo It has 93 pages full of photos of random roller coasters. Or the "Random Photo of the Day" thread: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/21765-random-photo-of-the-day/page-106?hl=+random%20+photo It has 106 pages full of random photos. Its really only inconsiderate if you are using the mobile version. Which I believe does have an option to block photos from loading (atleast my Pantech Link, a free basic phone has that option). Is it annoying yes, just say that and not that its going to cost extra money and servers and such. There are plenty of other sections on this forums that hold more than the photos than the replied posts you are talking about. Those topics use different pictures in every post. Nobody is quoting a post with twenty pictures that have already been shared in those topics.
  2. Please do not quote giant posts full of pictures. Not trying to play Mod or anything, it just takes forever to load and scroll through.
  3. ^^I didn't quote you. Nice try.
  4. You really needed to quote that whole thing?
  5. Maverick never held any records except to pad CP's coaster count record at the time. The ride never held any of the records you're bringing up. You mean the first "Horseshoe Roll" isn't a record?
  6. Nothing better than waking up to a bunch of texts from Caleb saying that he won the tweet up.
  7. Castles n' Coasters in Phoenix. Small and weird. I was only there for the Fiesta Bowl, so it was a nice add on.
  8. Hank, no ride is coming from Cedar Point. During the opening of Gatekeeper it was stated that the project was originally for another park. It was then moved to Cedar Point to become Gatekeeper. I think you heard that and somehow thought it meant Cedar Point was sending a ride down to KI. That is not what is happening. As stated above, Space Spiral collapsed on itself due to planned explosions. Disaster Transport was completely torn to pieces, as was Wildcat. If you do not believe me here are videos to prove it (not for Wildcat, that was done while the park was closed). Disaster Transport: Space Spiral: This project for 2014 will (probably) be custom designed specifically for Kings Island. (I was just clearing this up for Hank, and this post is not meant to be hostile at all. I love Hank's posts on here and mean no disrespect.)
  9. Remember that Gatekeeper was leaked a few days before the announcement. Pictures of the whole layout pretty much. And even before that, Gatekeeper was released by the Sandusky Register.
  10. YOLO That word/acronym/whatever annoys me to no end, mainly because I find it utterly stupid. But that's just me. It annoys me, also. I just thought it was a funny response. Maybe I'm just getting sleepy and the troll in me is coming out.
  11. YOLO If this thread is wrong, I don't want it to be right.
  12. I'll take some of the dough, if you haven't baked them yet.
  13. So we went from being super hush hush about the whole thing to him talking a lot and straight lying.
  14. I think we will see something else along with the new attraction. A new or updated front gate along with an accessible International Restaurant could be a real possibility.
  15. Some days you are the bug and some days you are the windshield. Sorry this happened.
  16. I ask this to people who have been to more parks that I have been to: Are there any B&M hypers (or other coasters) that have ejector air anywhere close to Magnum's greatness? Airtime that makes you go "whoa." I have yet to be on one.
  17. There are more people that know than just Don.
  18. I was there last year. The dry park was not very crowded during the day. Soak City was slammed. Once Soak City closed, the dry park became slammed.
  19. I would like to see what Ride Man over at Pointbuzz would say about this.
  20. As far as merchandise goes, I think we are about to see a dramatic shift in the quality of the products. Gatekeeper's store was full of Nike DriFit polos and T-shirts and The North Face jackets. These items were the first things I've ever actually thought about buying in an amusement park store. They weren't ugly and low quality like everything else.
