It was my 8th grade year and I had mono for about two months. I missed school all of that time and they thought I was going to die. When I got a little better, I talked my dad into taking me to get my season pass processed at Cedar Point because seeing the park would make me happy and cheer me up. I thought the pass center was open in February. It wasn't. I got to see the park, though.

It did that for me too. It worked this morning, though.

The first question the job registration form asks is if I have worked at a Cedar Fair park before. I volunteered at Cedar Point for two or three weeks in each of 2010 and 2011. Does that count?

I'm pretty sure that was the reason too, but did not want to misquote them. I've already learned my lesson about misquoting!

I think it was mentioned before on PointBuzz that B&M was originally in on the Millennium Force project, but the cost for them to build 300 feet at that time was in the thirty million dollar range. Cedar Point, of course, ended up going with Intamin.
