  1. He was joking. I'm sure if someone was willing to pay for a 400 foot B&M they would build it. Finding someone willing to spend that much would be nearly impossible.
  2. Does this website even have mods anymore to fix this?
  3. Poor Steve was told on Pointbuzz to come over here and ask about hotels and this is what he has to read through! A group of six of us were looking to go to Gatlinburg for a week after we graduated from high school this past summer. We were looking to rent a cabin, but every cabin we found required renters to be 21. The rental insurance they all had required it. We ended up calling an owner of the cabin we liked and explained how we were all responsible. The owner said he would make an exception, and he let us rent. My point is you are going to have to call and ask.
  4. Everything works fine from my iPad.
  5. Yeah, you aren't missing a thing. You are better off having the park's twitter feed messaged to you if you don't have a smart phone. That is what I do.
  6. No. I don't even know what it is.
  7. Wow, that looks awesome. The building alone is creepy. It kind of reminds me of American Horror Story.
  8. Now I wish I took pictures.
  9. And footings (footers, I don't know).
  10. At IAAPA, one of the guys from Gravity Group said they would not put a loop on a coaster. They are comfortable with the corkscrew thing they are adding on to Hades, but they will not do a loop.
  11. ...or light-bulb in the package.
  12. My best memory of it was a couple days ago when it fell down.
  13. It seemed like Popeye never ended! Such a good ride.
  14. It kinda reminds me of ball pits. You never see those anymore, but they used to be in every ChuckECheese.
  15. "I'm Chris Hanson with Dateline NBC..."
  16. Raptor's and Magnum's are also particularly loud. Many manufacturers such as Gerstlauer and B&M are now putting rubber on them to keep them quiet. http://rcdb.com/10148.htm?p=38335 That picture of Wild Eagle shows the ridges Terpy is talking about. I had to use a link because the iPad doesn't let me paste pictures.
  17. I didn't know there was another coaster out there, besides Lochness Monster, with interlocking loops. Is it still there?
  18. Did you put pillows in the oven? Who gets this reference?
  19. PP meaning pee in the water park. He questioned if it was a good thing. Also questioned having names of roller coasters make acronyms of questionable language. At least that is how I read it.
  20. Yeah, I didn't have to try too hard.
  21. College football, college football, and college football.
  22. I do see that. Again, I wasn't comparing their meaning. I was just saying it wouldn't have to be taken out as the post above mine suggested. I see how my original post would come off wrong, and I'm sorry.
  23. I wasn't comparing the tragedies or anything like that. I was responding to the "they will have to remove it" comment. They don't have to do anything if they don't want to. I apologize if it sounded insensitive. It was not meant to.
  24. There was no name calling or flaming. I don't see how it was rude or defensive. People's opinions and ideas differ, and if you can't handle some one disagreeing with you then you probably shouldn't express your opinion in the first place. People disagreeing with each other isn't "pointless drama" or "entertainment."
