From what I have heard, attendance has been static, in a lot of parks, for years. That is why a lot of parks have been focused on increasing in park spending. Of course, they don't release the real numbers so it is hard to tell.

The way I read it I thought he meant they will design a coaster to have a launch, but the launch mechanism will have to come from a different company. "The technology is easily adaptable to our products and tracks as the LSM motors can be easily found on the market" In my opinion, he is saying if a park wants a launch on their coasters it is possible. We have known this since Hulk was built. I don't see anything different happening.

I think it is obvious it has to do with Flying Eagles. Or the old fashioned cars. Ok, I don't know.

Ah, I see. Busch Garden's was beautiful when we went on it a few years ago. A great ride. I wish I was around (or at least could remember) the Frontier Lift at Cedar Point.

Of all my years on this site I have not read why the Skyride was removed. Why was it?

Which Park will open first if any?
TTD-120-420 replied to westcoaster's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Why is there no option for none of them opening? -
Any other coaster manufacturer can have theming around their rides if the park wants it. Vekoma, ha..No thanks.
-
Whoa whoa whoa... Vekoma? You want Vekoma to design the new rides?

I've been in both Cedar Point and Kings Island well after closing time. I've never found them spooky. I thought it was kind of nice.

What year?

I think I read that most of the money for future attractions is going to go into the water park.

Inside joke.

Move One Ride from Anywhere in the Country to KI
TTD-120-420 replied to MarketingExpress's topic in Coming Attractions
I'm so glad you moved to Ohio. -
My girlfriend took me to Holiday World for my first time last May for my birthday. I said hello to Pat as we walked in and she was very friendly. Later in the day, my girlfriend and I were getting our free drinks when Pat came up to us and just struck up conversation like we were old friends of hers. She asked us how long we had been together and if we had ever visited before. My favorite part of our conversation was when she asked where we were from. When I told her Lima was about five hours away she actually got emotional. She thanked us for traveling such a far distance to visit their "little family park," and was thankful for fans of the park like us. You could tell how proud Pat was of their park. What a great person. I'm sad she has to go through this.

In 4th grade we took 5, yes 5, trips to the Neil Armstrong museum. I think one would have been enough!
-
^Yes, it is gone. There is a lot of talk in this thread about the old cars returning in the future...
-
Wow, you are in 6th grade? There are a lot of members on this site that are super young, and surprise me with how decent their posts are. I don't want to think what my posts would have been like at 6th grade.

Maybe we will all show up for opening day and there will be a Flying Eagles ride as a surprise. Edit: I spell like I talk.

When did you join KICentral?
TTD-120-420 replied to Captain Nemo's topic in KICentral Footnotes & Small News
My first trip to Kings Island was in 1995 when I was two years old. I went multiple times each year until I was 8, and then we switched to Cedar Point. In 2007 I visited the park for the first time in what seemed like forever. Diamondback was being built the following year and I love watching construction of new rides so I joined in 2008. I didn't think I would stick around after DB was finished, but after many more trips to the park I like it more than I like Cedar Point. This is my number one website, with Pointbuzz close behind. -
...And everyone rejoices.
