You know, I have been thinking about this for a while. Intamin keeps on pushing the limit with launches and 90* lift hills so I was wondering if its possible to mix them. It could be like the space shuttle. The train rolls up the 90 degree incline and stops, leaving riders on their backs looking at the sky. From there, the magnets used on Maverick and other coasters could launch the train straight up. It obviously has never been done before. Is it possible? Probably not right now. Neither was cell phones in the 1920's. A ride like this would definately make Kings Island more known than it is now.

Have they listed the price for this yet?

The ride looks awesome. Not impressed with the way it was presented though. Maybe I'm just used to Cedar Fair, but no stat sheets, no separate off-ride videos, nothing. It took me forever to find the video that was on youtube that gave me a few stats. With all the sweet hint videos and great hype around the ride, I thought it would be better presented. Oh well. Overall, I'm going to love this coaster. We all know how great Busch themes their rides, and this seems to just be even better. I'm not sure how I will like the elevated figure eight. It will be different, thats for sure. Thumbs up to Busch.

I am a huge fan of fireworks. I can't think of a better way to end the day at King's Island than sitting by the fountains watching the display. They are simple, but I love them. One question, where is the launch pad located?

I picked decor. The log flume seems to be missing a lot in the back. Add some nice tunnels or water effects like there used to be.

The only question I have is with the block sections of this ride. Obviously they don't want to slow the train down before every launch like Maverick, but how will it work with more than one train on the course? Or do I have this all messed up?

I guess the green track has started to grow on me. At first I didn't like it because, knowing its Cheetah theme, I thought it was going to be an orange or brownish color. I like it now. I'm really excited about this coaster.

4 years old on Adventure Express. I love the guys in the tunnel.

Magnum in the day. Maverick at night. Maverick at night ranks up with night rides on Beast. I love it. I almost picked Raptor though because it is the only coaster that still gives me that weird feeling in my stomach on the first drop. I have lost that on all other coasters and I miss it.

At what point in the episode is it at? I heard the Allen County Ohio part (where I live) but didn't hear anything about KI. EDIT: NVM I found it.

What type of music did they play? I don't know about you guys but I love "Living On a Prayer" playing during the fireworks!

I did not make it Opening Day, but am visiting next Saturday. We are leaving at 6:30 A.M. and driving from Lima, Ohio. By the time we get there and get our passes we should have our hours worth of ERT. I'm bringing three friends who have never been before. This will be my first road trip!

You guys are maing me hungry for cheese sticks from Larossa's! I have waited too long for food from KI and next week I'm filling up. They will make tons of money off me.

It doesn't look like the lights will "enclose" you as you walk through it like at Cedar Point. I'm interested to see how this turns out.

lol Doubt my mother would let me drive to Carowinds this year. I won't push my luck! So even though on the KI website it says only processed at Kings Island, I can do it wherever? Do you think we should buy them off the CP or KI website? Or do you think it matters? Thanks for the fast reply Terp.

My cousin, best friend, girlfriend and I would like to buy a Platinum Pass for this season. Right now, both KI and CP are offering the deal where if you buy 4 passes you save $10 each. On King's Island's website it says it must be processed at Kings Island. On Cedar Point's website it doesn't specify. What I want to know is: 1. We don't all have to be related do we? 2. Do we get early entry for both Kings Island and CP or just the park we buy the passes from? 3. My best friend and I are going to King's Island on April 24Th, but we don't know when the rest of the group will be able to process...Does that matter if we don't process at the same time? 4. Should we all buy from CP's website so we can process at any of the parks? And my 5Th question is the hardest.... My cousin's mother bought him a Gold Pass for Christmas. He says he wants in on our deal because he wants a platinum pass. Is there a way to terminate his other pass or a way to upgrade it to the package of 4 deal? Some of this may be confusing, and I apologize. Thanks ahead of time.

Ah why would you enter the idea of a completely themed Scooby Doo kids area into my mind? I love that idea. I think I would spend more time there than on Beast!
