  1. Just the papers you printed out. That should be enough. If you renewed bring your old pass.
  2. Hah. Those people must've escaped. We weren't allowed to leave.
  3. I love this! I can't wait for my first CP trip! Great Pictures. I'm glad Millie's looking back to normal.
  4. Wood and steel both do the job so I don't like one better than the other. I like speed and airtime the most, and finally my three favorite rides are in this order: 1. The Beast 2. Diamondback 3. FoF. Posted from my iPod.
  5. Nope. Maybe it was just rainwater then. It was dark, like I said. It wasn't to the top of your ankles though, it was just above your feet.
  6. I say they bring back all the TR:TR theming, minus the copyrighted stuff. Along with the ride cycle. It'd be a great ride. I did hear the soundtrack though, waiting in line. I did find myself humming the song while leaving the ride.
  7. I was invited to go to Kings Island for a birthday party. We got there at like 2:30 (so late it's not even funny, we were supposed to go at 12:30). After scanning my pass, me and my group all decided on Diamondback first. We waited about 20-30 minutes for it and they all loved it. After riding Diamondback, we decided we were hungry so we got some Potato Works french fries. I got myself some Dippin Dots after (I've now made it a tradition to get cookies and cream Dippin Dots every time I go to Kings Island! YUM! ) and we went off to The Beast. The wait was TWO hours. Now don't get me wrong, I love The Beast, and it still stands as the best coaster (yes, it beats Diamondback), but I would not wait 2 hours for it. I wouldn't wait for 2 hours for anything. Ever. I did wait for Diamondback 2.5 hours, but that was because it was my first time on it and it was its opening day. Okay back on topic, I wanted to ride WWC for the first time this season, but the line was reaaaaaally long. We're talking up to the first few candy machines. We went to go check out Firehawk because I wanted to get on it for the first time this season, but the wait was an hour and a half. I like Firehawk, but I wouldn't wait that long for it. FOF was a 45 minute wait, and I wanted to wait for it, but my group didn't. I suggested Vortex, and we rode on 7-1. I'm addicted to that seat. You're ejected on that first hill in that seat. We then went over to Spongebob 3-D and I loved that ride. I don't know why, I've just always loved that ride. We then decided on The Racer, and rode the red train. I still looove the airtime on that ride and I had so much room it wasn't even funny. It was almost to the point I would've fallen out. "Who is we?" "RED TRAIN" Hah. When we were in the brake shed, some people screamed "Who is we?" and everybody screamed "RED TRAIN". It was pretty funny. After Racer, we walked to Adventure Express and I got on the front seat. I've never really ridden front seat on anything, I just don't like waiting extra for the front. I liked it, and some of the red lights were flashing in the "Volcano" tunnel. The giant stone idol at the end of the final lift tunnel had his mouth moving and his eyes blinking, but he didn't say anything.. By some miracle, the group got me on Drop Tower. The wait was pretty short, and I ended up loving it and wanting to ride again. This was the 3rd time I ever went on DT, and I ended up loving it more than I had ever. It was a pure adrenaline rush. We went to check out Invertigo's wait, but it was really long, and we walked over to Congo Falls. It was so cold. I was so stupid to ride it while the sun was going down. But we decided to ride WWC while we were wet. We walked over to Rivertown and got it line. It was so much shorter than before, and we got on in about 15 minutes. We had told somebody in our group, who did not want to get wet at all anymore, that you get a liiiittle bit wet. She got on and was so mad it wasn't even funny. She did enjoy it though. We went on The Crypt because my friends wanted to ride it even though I told them it changed and was stupid. We waited over 30 minutes for it. It was honestly the dumbest excuse for a thrill ride. The only good part was when it hung you upside down over the old volcano part. I heard many complaints when the ride was over ("THAT WAS IT?" "I WASTED THAT MUCH TIME WAITING FOR THIS S**T?" "STUPID!" "PUT IT OVER IN NICKELODEON TOWN!" Yeah, they actually said Town.) We exited to find it pouring rain. There was lightning like crazy. I'm talking like every few seconds. We were hungry and ran into the LaRosas and all pitched in for a pizza. We sat on the ground inside the LaRosas and ate. Then the tornado sirens went off and a Supervisor came into the store and told us we were not allowed to leave. There was quarter-sized hail for a few minutes. Then some panicked people came into the store crying and yelling there was a funnel cloud by 71. I didn't really believe them. We started talking to the employees, who were very funny and calming. One of the girls who came in crying went psycho. She went on about how she wanted her daddy. (This girl was a teenager) I tried to calm her by saying the tornados were gone, but she looked at me with a straight face and her skin went totally pale and said, "This is not the eeend! The worst of it has not come yet." I swear, all she needed was foam coming out of her mouth and I would've thought she was psycho. We then got the call that we were allowed to leave, and my group ran from shelter to shelter trying to get to the front. We ended up at the Candy shop right at the entrance of Coney Mall before it started getting really windy again. We stayed in there for a little while, but we went across to Outer Hanks, which looked like it was open, but was actually closed. We ran over there, to find it closed and we were stuck in the pouring rain. One of my friends had to go to the bathroom so we ran through the rain which came up to our ankles at some parts, to the bathroom across from Outer Hanks. The bathroom was flooded and it was too disgusting for me to walk in. I mean, I don't know what's in the water. So I waited and wentt back to the candy shop. People were stealing candy like CRAZY. The people sent us to the back of the Attitudes store. We got a call from my friends mom, (WE HAD SERVICE, FINALLY!), and she said she was at the front gate. She wanted us to come out, but they wouldn't let us out. At this point, we were getting mad. We sat there for a while waiting. I thought about my favorite rides. The Beast, Diamondback, Son of Beast, Flight of Fear, Drop Tower, and others. I prayed to God that they would be okay. ( ) The employees got a call that we were allowed to go. We again, bounced from shelter to shelter. We got to the picnic tables behind Outer Hanks, and they were flooded up to our ankles. Water from the lake was flooding into the picnic part. (Yes, there was that much rain) Or that's what it seemed at least. It was dark and I could hardly tell. I saw a huge group of people running to the front gate. I asked one of them where they came from and they said Flight of Fear. We were running, and running, we passed Sling Shot, and ran to the fountains. We got to the gates finally and were at last admitted to leave. We ran into my friends mom's car and at that, were safe. Overall, I had a great day at Kings Island. Great rides, few line jumpers. I did see one on Vortex who just literally pushed tons of people out of his way and ran into a seat while the gates were open. The ride-ops didn't do a thing. Which kind of scares me, are they not trained to handle this kind of stuff? When we asked the employees at Attitudes if they had a tornado emergency procedure, they just said no. And that also scares me. They're obviously not trained for this kind of stuff. Anyways, I had fun. Which is the main point of my day. I also thought it was fun running during the storm, you may think I'm crazy, but it was actually fun running from shelter to shelter.
  8. I was there yesterday for a birthday party. Some people (like me) were huddled into the Attitudes store and were NOT allowed to leave what-so-ever. I do remember some people came out of Flight of Fear when I was finally released. I'll put a TR up later. EDIT: I posted it already.
  9. Really? Where? I never knew that. What points of the queue line can you see it? Is it like labeled "TORNADO SHELTER" Sorry for all the questions I never knew there were tornado shelters.
  10. I went on the day of the huge storm in September. They just evacuated the park. So I'm guessing not. Edit: I guess they do have a shelter according to SOB_TOM.
  11. I'd expand X-Base with a S&S Swing and restroom along with resturants, and also paint FD, The Racer, Invertigo, FOC. I'd add another terrain coaster like The Beast and also like Prowler, but steel. Probably a launched coaster from Intamin? Umm I think I'm going over $100 million but I'm just saying a few things I'd like to do. I'd also like a GCII. I'd reaaallly like to get Ozark Wildcat from Celebration City, but its most likely going to Silver Dollar City or Dollywood. I'd really like a Giga coaster, or a Strata coaster. Ummm what else... I'd like to take out all of the blacktop and replace it with the paths in Rivertown.
  12. They'll abuse it? What are you talking about? Oh wait.. I swear on Memorial Day when I went, I saw so many groups walking into the SRL.
  13. I would've said Crypt, but it changed to Ferris Wheel: The Ride. I voted for Scooby. I just like taking a break from the big thrills and riding that, but the best part is... AIR CONDITIONING!!
  14. That was the absolute best. Ohh, I loved that seat. That's why my vote goes to recaR.
  15. I personally think Navy Blue and black supports would look great.
  16. That sounds like heaven to me.
  17. They need to deal with line jumping like this at Kings Island. I can't stand it. People don't respect KI's rules because nobody enforces the rules.
  18. I thought I posted in this thread, but I guess not. I was stuck between SOB and The Beast. The Beast. "The biggest, baddest, longest, fastest roller coaster ever," when it debuted. And SOB, still the tallest, fastest wooden roller coaster, and the only looping wooden roller coaster when it opened. In the end, I decided I had to vote for The Beast though.
  19. You know, the little waterfalls and streams over there by Rivertown Junction, well back when it was Wings.
  20. Those two things and line jumping need to have something done about them. I see women with little children walking down the midway with see through swimsuits. It's just really annoying, because they say you have to wear shirts and pants in the park, but they don't enforce it. Shoot, what rules DO they enforce? I couldn't even tell you how many times I see little kids having coughing fits because of some idiot smoking in a non-smoking area. Don't even get me started on line-jumping. If Kings Island keeps this up, I don't know if I'll want to come back anymore. And that's saying a lot.
  21. This is awful. Completely awful. Never in my life have I ever heard of such a bad experience at Kings Island (other than people dying and what-not). That Katie lady sounds like a complete you know what. I would've demanded to talk to her manager. That's completely terrible. I'm so sorry that you had this bad experience, but I just think it was a bad time to go. It's Memorial Day weekend, this weekend and 4th of July weekend are the worst times (IMO) of the year to go. Just because of the crowds, and like somebody said, people that don't usually come to Kings Island, come on those days.
  22. It's still Gold Pass ERT, but it doesn't look that busy at the moment. I think I think I could get a fair amount of rides in with this line before it gets busy.
  23. That's what I was trying to say. CF takes out ALL of our theming, and they get to keep a ton. We have no left over TR:TR theming, no BLSC splash, no waterfalls in Rivertown anymore, nothing.
  24. As the season goes on, I'll be looking for more clues to support my theory. Why do I suddenly feel like a member of the Scooby Gang? They would have gotten away with it too if it wasn't for us meddling kids... And also, even though this change was made before this year, the Cosmo and Wanda faces were taken off of FOC.
