  1. No, it certainly is NOT possible to fly out of DB. Unless of course, you give yourself way too much room. I'm sure no ride attendants would allow that. What would that method be? I always end up stapled, except last Saturday on DB, I had so much room.
  2. This made me even more anxious to get out there this summer! Great PTR, Angie!
  3. I would really enjoy a Journey To Atlantis type ride. Maybe themed to a flooded mine shaft in Rivertown? This probably won't happen, because we all know how much CF loooves heavy theming.
  4. Do you use the same pass all day?
  5. Oopsies, double post. Sorry.
  6. Can someone explain to me how it works? Do you get the little SRL pass at the entrance to the ride? Or at the gate to the park?
  7. Hey guys. I went to the park today, there were supposed to be thunderstorms, so I thought that there wouldn't be that many people there. I was wrong. First Ride: Diamondback I looked at the webcam before I left, and there was no line, and I got there and it was a liiittle bit longer, but the line took about 20 minutes. Since I had an odd-numbered group, I was paired with a single rider, and sat down. I was able to give myself some room for airtime. It was really awesome. By the way, I saw Gabriel (Nemo), and he was singing Single Ladies in the ride-op booth. I yelled for him, but he didn't notice me. I would've gotten back on, but my group wanted to leave.. We decided to go to hit The Beast. It was my first ride this season, so I was very happy to get on. It was great, the tunnel wasn't as bad as before thanks to the re-tracking. Second Ride: The Beast After The Beast, my group split up, some went on The Crypt, but I heard the ride program changed, and skipped it for The Vortex. I took my little 5 year old brother for his first time on a looping coaster. He was really scared to ride it though, and almost had to force him onto it. We got into line, and I decided to sit in 7-1 because I heard a lot about that seat. Let me tell you, I was practically STANDING when I came down that first hill. It was SO awesome. My brother loved it, and he was so happy he did it. He said he was going to go to school and tell all his friends he went on The Vortex with his big brother. Third Ride: Vortex I called up my group, and they were still in line, so I went and did Spongebob 3-D. I had never done it before, so the 3-D effects were pretty cool, and it was a good ride. Fourth Ride: Spongebob 3-D. By this time, the group joined back together, and they said the Crypt sucked. So at that disappointment, we went and ate Skyline. I went off alone after eating to try and ride Diamondback again, but the SRL was closed and the line was full, and almost out of the queue. I wish it had been open, I could've re-rode. So my group was going to go to Drop Tower, but I just don't like that ride, and my little brother didn't want to ride it either. I took him on Congo Falls, and we stood on the bridge together for quite a while. He loved the puddles, and the big wave. When the first wave came toward us on the bridge, he said "Wow!" and laughed. Fifth Ride: Congo Falls And after that, my brother said he wanted to ride Son of Beast, but it was closed, and he was disappointed at that. I called, and they were still in line for Drop Tower, and then I took my 5-yr-old brother to go and ride Scooby-Doo. He beat me by 500 points! He was proud of himself at that too. He rode the Nick Jr. Drivers, and liked that, and then our last ride was the Sportacopters. While on that ride, he proclaimed to me, "LOOK IT'S SPONGEBOB!" when he saw Spongebob. He was just so excited to see him, and ran from the exit to give him a hug. We met up with our group after that and left. Sixth Ride: SDATHC Seventh Ride: Sportacopters Overall, I had a great day. Although it was a little bit more crowded than I had hoped, it didn't interfere with how much fun I had. Enjoy.
  8. Please please please tell me you're joking. Please, please please. I'm sick of this stuff. Ugh.
  9. HEY!! It's me Josh from the Diamandback line! (opening day)

  10. I love all of these pictures! Great job, Ash.
  11. Oodles of them, because I can make my background like a slideshow..
  12. Yes! NOW I remember! Thanks! Great great picture by the way, do you mind if I use one as my desktop?
  13. I stood by that lady taking the picture on my 2.5 hour journey to the Snake. I loved her! She was so funny, but I can't remember her name at the moment.. I do know she works the train, but I just forget her name. If anyone knows her screen name on here, pleaaase tell me?
  14. Mm, okay thanks. Sure fooled me. I love the aquarium in the queue, it's sure to keep people in line occupied.
  15. Oh my gosh, this ride looks beautiful. Kudos to Seaworld. Amazing. EDIT: During the splashdown part, does the actual train come into contact with the water?
  16. Personally, I think the ride looks great, but the station and landscaping are very poorly done.. Compared to Voyage's station, this reaaally stinks. Holiday world is a THEME park, and this looks like something, as an amusement park, CP would throw in. From what I've seen and heard, Ride: A- Landscaping: C- Great pictures though, I love the one with Santa coming down the hill.
  17. Thanks Kat, you just reaaaally made me want to go to Holiday World. Haha, JK. I love your VTR's Thanks for posting. I'm glad you enjoyed your Voyage. ;D
  18. Wow. This TR just made me feel so so so nostalgic. Great, I'm glad you had fun with your kids .
  19. Indeed, they are. Great TR, Angie, as always.
  20. This may have been said, but they need to do something about the Bees!
  21. My favorite is the 5th one down, of DB from The Beast's entrance.
  22. The carpenter bees scare me because I'm allergic to any type of bee sting. If I get stung, it'd totally ruin my day, and could make me very sick. They had lots of nests in AE's queue, and they'd fly by very often. I cringe every time I see one. Ughhh, I hate them.
  23. Random kid in line for Diamondback on opening day: "I heard this ride goes upside down more times than The Vortex!" "This coaster doesn't have any loops. Do you see see any out there?" Kid: "Yeah huh, they took some off The Vortex JUST for this ride!" I just thought, "really? Arrow loops on a B&M?" People are just so dumb sometimes. I mean, The Vortex is pretty close to Diamondback, can't he see?
  24. You like Diamondback? I like Diamondback too! I rode Diamondback once this season, you're lucky that you got to ride Diamondback 7 times! I would've died to ride Diamondback that many times! I think I've said Diamondback enough now to show that Diamondback is spelled like Diamondback and not Diamond Back. Sorry, I'm just obsessive compulsive about that. It's one of my biggest pet peeves when people don't get the names of rides right, so don't take it personally.
  25. Ahhhh, I wish I had gone last night! I'll try to go next Friday. I am going today, but I already know it's gonna be pretty crowded.
