  1. I'm not sure this is totally true. Me and 2 of my friends (all season pass holders) went and 1 of us got the wristband. He didn't have to carry the cup with him at all and he didn't get a souvenir cup. At each stand he just showed his wristband and they gave him a new cup with whatever drink he wanted. IDK if thats how its intended to be used, but that is how he used it.
  2. I can't say i'm surprised at anything going on with this ride. I can honestly say that I've gotten stuck on it more than I can count on 2 hands. I thought it was a very poorly operated ride and things were just not going good with it. I wouldn't mind having a ride similar to it, but it needs to be more reliable.

Just an idea, but I think they should have a special area for people who need to store medical supplies. My friend is diabetic as well and she was making that suggestion to someone at the park because as was said, some things for certain conditions require refrigeration or being kept at a certain temperature.
  4. I can honestly say that is probably my biggest fear as far as riding a coaster goes. Anyone have stories on the time it happened to Vortex or The Beast? Also was anyone hurt in either instance? Just out of curiosity.
  5. I just wonder if the inclusion on non-moving seats replacing the moving ones will be part of it... Seems like a big investment as far as labor goes to do that though. I think this is an all around terrible move on the part of the park owners. Why not keep 1 side of the theater for just the DA3d and the other side with a normal moving movie ride?
  6. While many would agree with you, they do not realize the problems that would be created by having to open up 2 areas of the park early. Very good point, even though it would make more sense to have the 2 newest rides be the ERT promotions, it probably just isn't what they were wanting to do as far as opening up certain areas of the park for early operation.
  7. I had a similar day Monday with one of my good friends, except for the washout part haha.
  8. I would liek a Top Thrill type coaster, maybe leaning more toward Kingda Ka though.
  9. "Is this the line ride?" (guy waiting in line for TR) "Top Gun is Tom Cruise's favorite ride, thats why they named it after one of his movies" (the dude that said this was a "know it all" guy.)
  10. This has been a while now, but when i was riding on the old Antique Cars the ride op said to us while riding on the car side, "Now remember, this is Days of Thunder, and bumping is encouraged, so spin out your opponents and remember to 'gesture' on your way around them!"
