We were just cleared off if the side of coney mall that the trucks are on. A couple more staff members came out looking rough. Sounds like they are cleaning a lot of coney mall out though.

Staff members seem unphased, so things must not be too bad.

Watching it unfold a little. Tons of pizzas and drinks are going back to x-base, presumable for those who may have been on the ride at the time of the incident.

To confirm there are 4 fire trucks total. 2 fire/ems pick ups as well as the ambulances.

Not sure if anyone else is here but 2 mason fire trucks and 2 ambulances just pulled up and had members walk back to chase with axes in hand. Hearing rumors but nothing official. Will keep updated if I hear.

I am kind of with this statement. I would love the restraints on some other inverts, but I am more than OK with us being the only ones with them for a little while.

Man, that made me feel like I was on the ride. He did forget the part where I got stuck almost inverted for 10 minutes though.

Had this challenge a few times myself. Its fun until you have to sit in the brakes because someone is taking forever to get in the car or there is an issue getting someone in.

I would just say that it all comes down to the standards of the companies mentioned.

Hmmm. Good to know, I was not aware they were doing the 10% discount. I figured it would just be the same deal as last year (which in some cases is well over 10%).

If it is the same as last year, I believe you can get a free appetizer with the purchase of 2 entrees, which have to be on the same check in order to get the benefit. My mistake on this, totally forgot about that perk last season.

I personally can say that I thought SOB was the much more thrilling ride of the 2. I am going to say that after multiple rides on Banshee that I am very happy with the trade-off and think I will enjoy it more in the long-run than I did SOB.

If I remember right I do not believe Panda Express is part of the discount. Neither is the Reds HOF Grille.

Hoping with the possibility of rain that we will have an awesomely slow day at the park. Going with 2 friends for ERT to close.

OH really now? I had no idea about this until you said it. One perk that I don't remember seeing on the list of Gold Pass perks.

One seller successfully sold two shirts on eBay for $50 each. Someone's Fast Lane Plus wristband was (more than) paid for. Obviously its late now, but I wish there was an easier way to have stopped people from exploiting that system. Maybe a hand stamp (yes I know that would be easy to get rid of) or a mark on their fast past band.

My Banshee experience was awesome on both Media Day and Opening Day. Other than the minor setbacks of ERT being nuts and of the minor issues with the brake run early on in the day, I loved every second of the day.

I'm 5'10 240 and I have had no issues getting on any rides at the park.

Planning on getting up around 3 or so to get ready. Doubt i'll sleep well, I never do when something exciting is coming up.

I would think it will run regardless of the temperatures. You would need to test/run it under all circumstances to see how it will do. Ohio is a pain in the rear state of weather, so might as well.

I think the main incentive to go Gold is the free parking. When it comes to other benefits, they have been announced over time on KI social media outlets. ERT has been discussed and other Gold events (bring a friend free mainly) have been scheduled. The extra benefits may not be laid out well, but I think with the situation you have, where you visit many parks a year, your benefit is the fact that you have a pass that will get you into any CF park at will.
