Just found a video someone posted the link to on PointBuzz of Canada's Wonderland WindSeeker testing. Looking forward to this!

Just noticed the flags are at half staff? Any one know why? The only thing I could think of is the officer that was killed somewhere in Warren County.

Thanks for that TombRaiderFTW. I find it interesting that they were allowed to ride with water dummies. Of course the ride was already operational and commissioned. I don't see KI letting someone ride with water dummies on a ride that hasn't been deemed operational and commissioned by the state. Could be a CF policy or state policy, if a policy at all.

Not sure about that, never saw it. It may be different when it comes to different parks. But from what I remember being told when Diamondback was going through testing that was the case. Things may have changed! It's nice to see WindSeeker testing today!

I just searched for Kings Island. There are two apps that are free, one is a KI News and then KI My Park. Cedar Point also have these apps!

Did she by chance ride it via youtube? If she is a park employee she needs to be careful when making statements like these. She could lose her job over this if management finds out about it. And yes, it is impossible for her to have ridden the ride already. Humans aren't allowed to ride until the state clears it and as far as I know humans + water dummies are not allowed riding the ride at the same time. (waiting for a joke to be made)

As I stated earlier I probably won't check it out...one on the financial end I need to save money for my move and two doesn't appeal to me. If I hear that it's amazing and needed to check out I'll check it out my next visit to the park. I would like to hear what you think of it though when you check it out!

Wow.....just....wow. I love how our views change so quickly. We hear that KI is building something mysterious we get excited....when we find out what it is and how there will be an up-charge we get tiffed off....then we find out theres going to be a new movie we're excited.....but then we find out there's going to be a charge so again we get tiffed. I'm sorry but I thought we were a Kings Island fan site. When I joined the site, I joined to be in a community that supported KI and was excited about the park, I didn't join the community to tear KI down. Grant it, the park has made decisions that I'm not fond of but you know what I don't air my dirty laundry out for them to smell it. I've made my complaints known to the park on a personal and respectful basis...some things have changed some haven't. But the big thing is respect. I think it's time as a community we really look at who we are and why we're here. We need to make a decision on that...are we a fan site or are we here to hang our dirty laundry? There have been multiple people on this site who have told me they have stopped posting often not because of time but because they're tired of stupidity/the negative/the lack of this site being a enthusiast site. Yes, I understand that an up-charge is asking a little too much, but how many people on here would actually go to either. Most of you it sounds like would rather just go to DB/Beast/any thrill ride. I offer simple advice, if you don't want the up-charge don't go to the attractions, it's as simple as that. If you have kids that want to go to the Dino attractions there's gonna have to be a choice to be made. I had a family in Columbus tell me that even though they hardly make any money they're going to make a trip to KI to see DA and the DA3D because it's worth it seeing their kids enjoy themselves as well as them enjoying themselves. Not once did they mention how ridiculous it was that the park was charging for both attractions. /rant. As for the 3D glasses I don't see guests being able to take them after watching the show. The park would constantly have to order the glasses from what I've gathered by paying for them to see a regular mainstream movie aren't that cheap. I don't see myself touring DA or DA3D....it's not my thing. But I fully support the park in building this attraction and doing something they didn't have to do.

Yes, there will be a combo and regular ticket. Combo is for the DA Park and movie. Regular tickets will be for DA and movie.

That is an interesting point! I like Time Warp! Just wonder if that were the case, wonder if the other 3 parks would follow suit, although Wonderland already has a coaster named Time Warp.

Well now the DA Cam is pointing at WindSeeker....looks like our Webcam section is going to be sweet no matter what site they decide to point the cams at!

Apparently there is a Dinosaurs Alive Camera now! Edit: Looks like they are either trying to focus it or move it to look at WindSeeker. The Front Gate cam has been shifted too!

I know that the ride supervisors at Diamondback helped pick what played in it's queue.

Can't agree more! When being trained to operate rides at Kings Island at least, you're instructed what to look for, what conditions can and cannot ride. So this employee was not out of place at all. Too many people complain about not being able to ride due to unusual body proportions, not being able to hold themselves up, casts, prosthetics, etc. but never read the policies before entering the line of a ride. I'm with you HTCO if you don't like the policy after you finally read the policy or are asked to leave the ride, don't ride that ride and/or don't go to that park.

I don't think gas at $4.15 in the surrounding areas of the park really hurt attendance yesterday.

What do you mean? If you are talking about what is playing...it hasn't been announced. Speculation is SpongeBob again. If you are asking why it wasn't open yesterday it's because of WindSeeker construction. Stitch, those signs are still there! Great find! I forgot about them even though I passed them yesterday.
