Kings Island's Best Kept Secret
TTD, I'd have to agree 100% with you! My last trip to the park (In May (ew)) I was so extremely tired our group took a ride on the train (it ended up down-pouring so the ride was longer) I sat there and just napped! Kingsrattler, I'd have to agree with this one as well. I have only ridden Surf Dog/Avatar a few times, however, each time that I've rode, it makes me smile! As far as my favorite best kept secret, is the Xtreme Sky Flyer. My reasoning being in several parts. First part, is upcharge, when I get to the park before noon if I get to that side of the park, the tickets are usually $5. So getting your ticket as close to opening is the best way to enjoy the attraction. Another part would be that tickets can be used at any point during your visit. My final reason is that you never really know how your experience is going to go. It all depends on who you ride with and your level of fear of heights. I'm terrified of heights and I absolutely love this. I had one experience where the weight load was so high that we had to be brought back down to reduce the weight and finally getting up to the top was the scariest part, then the fall became that. I'd do this thing over and over now!

Windseeker Seats?
Hi Amanda welcome to KIC! The average height of women in the US is about 5'4". Just a little helpful hint to get into the seat okay, if you have someone with you ask them to help you up! I have had friends crawl in the seat under 5'2" (62 inches) even kids the height restriction, although it was awkward, it worked. Again, welcome to KIC!

Dinosaurs Alive! Next Stop Dorney Park 2012
I noticed the field trips thing was part of the marketing at Cedar Point this past weekend. I have yet to even visit DA at KI, DA at any of the other parks that it is going to is not making me want to visit the other parks.

Winterfest 2011
OldiesMan and TylerRider you must not have got my sarcasm I don't see this event returning in the near future (not even in 10 years). Jdawg1998, I've never attended the Beach's Holiday Fest. However, due to the size of the Beach I'm sure the operating costs for Holiday Fest are much less than Winter Fest.

Wyandot Lake Memories
I remember when Wyandot Lake was getting ready to premier and they had a contest to decide what name of the kid's area was to be called. One of the options was Christopher's Island (I voted for that one because it was made from my name of course!) I vaguely remember that show. One of my favorite memories was when my dad's company had the company picnic there and as soon as we finished eating and winning prizes, I got my mom on the tilt-a-whirl and she was so afraid of being sick I had to laugh! The zoo made the property stellar! I'm extremely happy with how it has turned out. Especially this year with 2 new slides! I do wish they would have utilized more of the Wyandot Property, even have the game buildings open. I see great things coming in the near future for Zoombezi Bay and the Columbus Zoo.

Wyandot Lake Memories
I guess I can see that. I know when I went over there I was trying to go for fun but relaxation without the kids swimming by. I like the effects but it's okay that they're not working. I was trying to remember were there any other rides that aren't currently a part of Jungle Jack's Landing, like I know there was a ferris wheel.

Wyandot Lake Memories
Some of these things I didn't know. I was severely disappointed before I moved with the 21 and up lazy river, it used to be so cool with all the effects, now none work

Wyandot Lake Memories
Hey all, I searched for some past Wyandot Lake forums but didn't really see much other than the news that Six Flags had bought it then sold it to the zoo and so on. My questions for you all are: 1) Did you visit Wyandot Lake ever? 2) When did you visit? 3) What was your favorite memory? 4) Do you have any pictures to share? 5) If you have been to Zoombezi Bay have you seen any things that you have noticed to be from Wyandot Lake? Can't wait to hear your responses!

Carowinds to get Windseeker in 2012
I could see Kings Dominion getting a WindSeeker. I don't know if I'd like it to be back where El Dorado is. It'd be great to see it toward the front of the park. But if you were with me on the opening weekend trip, we discovered a failed attempt at WindSeeker. See the picture I took below!

I would have to agree. However, I'm not real sure what else you could do with WindSeeker in a logo....my brain is too tired!

Winterfest 2011
Apparently if you like the Kings Island Winterfest Facebook Page found here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Kings-Island-Winterfest/273402536007088?sk=wall and enough people like it as well Kings Island will bring back Winterfest. I would love to see Winterfest back at KI but I know why they won't have it. I know tons of people are disappointed that it won't be back. Thought you all would enjoy this find!

Python "Complaint"
For some reason this reminds me of Wildcat at Cedar Point. The first time I rode it, my back hurt but not to a point where I'd say anything. From then on, I made sure I held on with at least one arm to push my self back into the seat, to lessen the chance of my back slamming on the seat.

Diamondback already losing its touch?
Remember as the heat of the summer rises, the track does too. The heat on the wheels can cause wear and tear. When this happens it'll feel rough, especially when entering a trim brake. I remember last Halloween Haunt, as it was getting colder, Diamondback was smoother than the summer. As many have mentioned before just because a ride does shake a little, it doesn't mean the ride has lost its touch! I wish I could say the same for Invertigo!
